Right? It's kinda hard to find a proper Cdrama. I feel like I've watched all the good historical romance ones already: Ashes of Love, Princess Weiyoung, Princess Agents, Story of Yanxi Palace, Legend of Lu Zhen, Legend of Hao Lan, Kingdom, Empress Ki, Handsome Siblings... I ain't watching anything sad. I watched a bit of Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace and Legend of Yun Xi and ended it fast when I found out the endings.

honestly han shou is probably one of the best ive seen and the acting from ding yuxi was so good, there were so many dimensions to his character and he portrayed them so well, i hope he gets more roles like this and acts in more historical dramas and as always zhao lusi is so good

For reals, like I felt for him so many times. How he expressed emotions tugged at my heart. When you could see how much he loves her he had such a soft and loving expression and his worry for her or how sad he got when she like " betrayed him". He expressed them all so well

Han Shao is one of very few male lead who's funny and cunning at the same time, QianQian is naughty and adorable. I must say Zhao Lusi's shows never disappoint. I even became a fan of Ryan Ding after watching this show. I never shipped Zhao Lusi with anyone other than Li Hong Yi but Ryan is exceptional. Their chemistry is rocking and awesome. This show is so good that I finished it all in just one day. Everything about it is perfect 👌 be it cast, storyline or graphics. My no.1 drama was Ashes of love but this one seems to surpassed it. I highly recommend everyone to watch it. This show is masterpiece with great moral on gender equality. One of the best Chinese drama ever created.❤️ I really hope for a second season in modern era.

He tried to make her drink the dragon bone first, wore the bracelet, gave her his money, his token for the guards, and protected her countless times. He always kept her first, so yes even if no one believed him, he was willing to die if it meant keeping her safe
Yes even when he felt betrayed and was seething mad he still loved her and was not only unwilling to hurt her but treated her better than he treated the FL in the original story that really says something.
I'm glad I found this series, it would have been a shame to miss it! 👌 One of the best movie series I've seen! It had both lighthearted, fun scenes and dramatic heartbreaking moments. 👏 The acting of Zhao Lu Si (Princess Chen Qian Qian) and Ding Yuxi (Han Shuo) was amazing in every way! This drama is a masterpiece, the comedy is so witty and brilliant, nothing cringy about it, the best comedy cdrama I've ever seen hands down ❤ NB. I just became a hardcore Zhao LuSi & Ryan Ding fan, they were exceptional in their roles

Let me just say, Han Shuo's eyes is so comforting. How he expresses his feelings through his eyes and we really felt the pain and emotions that he's experiencing. I must say, bravo. I really cried when it was his scene. And it really pains me to see him hurting.

First Princess and Su Mu’s relationship is very sweet. Although their story was very short, it’s is still such a beautiful story. First princess who everyone, except for Third Princess, have given up on, and Su Mu who feels like he have no value to deserve her, these two are both pitiful and very beautiful characters who really want to love. First princess still want to do everything everyone could. So sad that no one really realizes that. Everyone seems to take for granted the little things in life but for First Princess, she yearn for those little things, skating, going places, etc. Su Mu, who feel insecure about himself in the world, who feels like he has no value, nothing but a servant yet deep down, he too wanted to find someone to appreciate him. So glad they found each other. To the world, people might think they meant nothing, but to each other, they meant the world. 😊
I dig the storyline about the first princess and a lowborn man, but... and here's my but - the actor was way too feminine. He looked like a boytoy. I'm not saying that every man needs to be a two hundred pound muscular brute. Look at Han Shuo. He is not build as a bodybuilder or something, and yet, he looks manly (and boyish at the same time). But Su Mo just looks... girly. Delicate. Too fragile.
Whoever wrote this wow amazing 好看.. I love the continuous plot line.. It wasn't really about the arthor changing the plot and some small Child coming to punish them because they did so💀... The story build up as the plot changed it was as if it was written already and qq was experiencing it 😌
Any time someone asks me for a list of my top favorite C-dramas, this is always on the tip of my tongue...its head and shoulders above so many others, it manages to be touching, romantic, silly, heartbreaking, skipped all the obvious overdone plot points, it never failed to keep me wondering what was going to happen next. I'm here for yet another rewatch and I'm still in love with this drama. If anyone is interested in another C-drama that doesn't fall into predictable storylines, I would highly suggest giving " Love Like The Galaxy " a try, you won't be disappointed!!

I just finished this drama and I really can't express how much I loved this enough... I dont have much experience with Cdramas but as someone who's watched Ashes of Love (another fantasy historical drama which was really successful) I can confidently say that this has definitely become my favorite. Han Shuo's cunningness, playfulness, bravery and even his puppy eyes have made me fall in love with him so many times. Similarly, Chen Qian Qian's stubbornness, naughtiness and tender heart have also made me deeply appreciate her beautiful soul. This drama has been such a rollercoaster, one with such a unique plot and engaging characters. I started this drama right after I finished watching Thousand Autumn's donghua (A Chinese anime) and I'm so glad that I did. It was pure coincidence that I came across this on TikTok multiple times. It's as if the universe wanted me to watch it, this makes me tear up. The romance of tiger and rose, you will never be forgotten ❤

I am satisfied with the ending. I was really wondering how things would be after they returned to the "real life". Because she was the only person to experience everything. By letting them both have the dream is a good way to tie everything up.
But it was interesting, she was the only who acted on her own in the dream because he did say it was like he was looking at another person’s memories. Plus, in the dream, Han Shuo never showed any recognition for modern day terms or anything, so he must not have retained his consciousness like QianQian.
@@annabethyeung8512 One possible explanation is that he became hanshuo at a very young age. Note that the girl only fainted for couple hours but he fainted for days. He might have the memory but growing up as HanShuo, he puts himself more into the charactor and it is possible that he forgot about his memory of the real life...

This is my second time watching this drama and I still loved it as much as I did the first time I watched it! I enjoyed every bit of it and absolutely loved the characters and everything that happened. I love that it’s serious but also hilarious I was hooked in straight away. I have watched many Chinese dramas but never felt this attached to any of them like I do with this one. This drama is very creative and never boring I find that most dramas just seem to drag on and get extremely boring and uninteresting but this drama kept me wanting more I could watch over and over and never get bored. The actors did an amazing job this is definitely one of my most favourite historical Chinese dramas and will probably end up rewatching it again and again thank you for producing this amazing drama for us❤❤
The drama was amazing. I think that would be my favorite this year, I have seen a lot of C-dramas but this one keeps me surprising each moment. The sweetness, the sadness, the laughs, the love... all were amazing. I found myself laughing like crazy, melting my heart with the sweetest moments, crying when I can't control the pain. Thank you so much for bringing to us such great history I can't be happier that will be 2nd season. Banana and Orange need their history in the modern world.

A really cute and fun af cdrama. The main couple is really cute together, although I wish they had more romantic scenes and their conflict seems pretty shallow. The plot has a lot of loopholes and can be cliche but amazing actors made me finished it. The maidservants chemistry with Han Suo and Chen Qianqian are top tier. I love all their bickering and kinda wished for more. Zhao Lusi is really a cute and promising actress while Ding Yuxi just made me want to have my own Han Suo! I’m basically smiling like a cheschire cat whenever he do swoon worthy scenes. Final Rank: Likeable Series
This finale has made me cried so much, Han shuo wanted her to live happily so he decided to let her go. He still wanted the best for her until the end, his devotion is really moving ! Hehe, hoping for a season 2 showing their modern life together. Thanks to the director we got a happy ending, for our orange and banana at most 🍊❤🍌

Wow I love this imagine creating a story and then going inside the story and fell in love with someone then come back to reality the person that they fell in love with is actually real and then the dream actually made them a real couple in life.
That is like this story of us on earth, while our "real" us is "dreaming" in the 5th dimension where we belong, And mom Earth invited us into her dream, that is what I remembered as a child between 6 & 9 years old, and asked my sister to wake me up! She felt the same and we used to "give us little bit of pain" to each other in order to wake up from this dream, when we shouted in pain my mom used to come and stopped us saying that this is no dream but the reality, we looked to each other, my sis and me shouting: Oh God! They forgot all about reality! We are trapped here! and will forget too?!!! But we did not forget like all humans do! So in this story, they went back to "real earth"! (This is my husband´s channel! Shhh, do not tell him ;) my compu died (perhaps went back to her planet ha, ha, ha,) and I cannot get into my channel!

The ending is so sweet and better in my opinion if compared to 'cinderella chef' which has a similar situation of coming back to the modern world but it was a bit messy there and it wasn't satisfactory as it is here, I really liked han shuo in ancient time and got used to his hair style and clothes that I felt weird when I saw him with short hair like in 1st episode but he is handsome nonetheless I really appreciate this story and love it from the bottom of my heart so I want to thank everyone who worked on this wonderful drama and want to thank the channel who let us enjoy it in hugh quality, easy to access and for free too ❤❤ love you so much!! Edit : I would like to add that I actually didn't like zhao lusi because of her role in cinderella chef I just associate her face with that quiet lady the ml used to work with so I didn't really have the desire to watch any of her dramas but after I saw this drama I really really like her!! omg where do we begin. This was a masterpiece. If she had woken up and he really didn't exist it would have been so sad. Still at least she got to experience love and what it was like to have a mother, sisters, servants, live in a city where women are superior but equal later, even if it was imaginary we got to experience what a screenwriter must invision for their work, and really is beautiful they can see each character come to life when the actors take the roles. If only we could live a whole life in our dreams that would be so cool, we could say we lived multiple lives, but would the life experience we gain in our dream count though? Anyway definitely worth a watch.

Pero continúe viéndola, y al final quedó sorprendida de las cosas tan profundas que aborda y que definitivamente solo la comedia puede ser dispensa para abordar tantos puntos. La cuestión de género, de igualdad, el papel del hombre y la mujer, la educación. El personaje de la suegra y de la madre son sorprendentes, mujeres muy fuertes que viven hasta el final fieles a SUS decisiones. Fue complicado lo de los subtítulos en los tres capítulos que faltan, pero moviendo las herramientas, los obtuve :). Creo que la pandemia influyó en que un escritor mostrara parte de su trabajo desde su perspectiva y como se siente. Si uno quisiera analizar a fondo a los personajes vaya que saldrian muchas cosas... Gracias por compartir la obra.

oh my god, I cant believe i just finished this. Hands down one of the most captivating stories Ive seen. Ding Yu Xi is amazingly talented and deserves more roles, he was spot on. Lu si is so witty and whimsical. It was truly a got tier drama. I'm so sad its over. We need a part two, plsssssss.

First Princess and Su Mu’s relationship is very sweet. Although their story was very short, it’s is still such a beautiful story. First princess who everyone, except for Third Princess, have given up on, and Su Mu who feels like he have no value to deserve her, these two are both pitiful and very beautiful characters who really want to love. First princess still want to do everything everyone could. So sad that no one really realizes that. Everyone seems to take for granted the little things in life but for First Princess, she yearn for those little things, skating, going places, etc. Su Mu, who feel insecure about himself in the world, who feels like he has no value, nothing but a servant yet deep down, he too wanted to find someone to appreciate him. So glad they found each other. To the world, people might think they meant nothing, but to each other, they meant the world. 😊
I dig the storyline about the first princess and a lowborn man, but... and here's my but - the actor was way too feminine. He looked like a boytoy.
I'm not saying that every man needs to be a two hundred pound muscular brute. Look at Han Shuo. He is not build as a bodybuilder or something, and yet, he looks manly (and boyish at the same time). But Su Mo just looks... girly. Delicate. Too fragile.

Any time someone asks me for a list of my top favorite C-dramas, this is always on the tip of my tongue...its head and shoulders above so many others, it manages to be touching, romantic, silly, heartbreaking, skipped all the obvious overdone plot points, it never failed to keep me wondering what was going to happen next.
I'm here for yet another rewatch and I'm still in love with this drama. If anyone is interested in another C-drama that doesn't fall into predictable storylines, I would highly suggest giving " Love Like The Galaxy " a try, you won't be disappointed!!

I just finished this drama and I really can't express how much I loved this enough... I dont have much experience with Cdramas but as someone who's watched Ashes of Love (another fantasy historical drama which was really successful) I can confidently say that this has definitely become my favorite. Han Shuo's cunningness, playfulness, bravery and even his puppy eyes have made me fall in love with him so many times. Similarly, Chen Qian Qian's stubbornness, naughtiness and tender heart have also made me deeply appreciate her beautiful soul. This drama has been such a rollercoaster, one with such a unique plot and engaging characters. I started this drama right after I finished watching Thousand Autumn's donghua (A Chinese anime) and I'm so glad that I did. It was pure coincidence that I came across this on TikTok multiple times. It's as if the universe wanted me to watch it, this makes me tear up. The romance of tiger and rose, you will never be forgotten ❤

I am satisfied with the ending. I was really wondering how things would be after they returned to the "real life". Because she was the only person to experience everything. By letting them both have the dream is a good way to tie everything up.
But it was interesting, she was the only who acted on her own in the dream because he did say it was like he was looking at another person’s memories. Plus, in the dream, Han Shuo never showed any recognition for modern day terms or anything, so he must not have retained his consciousness like QianQian.

@@annabethyeung8512 One possible explanation is that he became hanshuo at a very young age. Note that the girl only fainted for couple hours but he fainted for days. He might have the memory but growing up as HanShuo, he puts himself more into the charactor and it is possible that he forgot about his memory of the real life...

This is my second time watching this drama and I still loved it as much as I did the first time I watched it! I enjoyed every bit of it and absolutely loved the characters and everything that happened. I love that it’s serious but also hilarious I was hooked in straight away. I have watched many Chinese dramas but never felt this attached to any of them like I do with this one. This drama is very creative and never boring I find that most dramas just seem to drag on and get extremely boring and uninteresting but this drama kept me wanting more I could watch over and over and never get bored. The actors did an amazing job this is definitely one of my most favourite historical Chinese dramas and will probably end up rewatching it again and again thank you for producing this amazing drama for us❤❤

The drama was amazing. I think that would be my favorite this year, I have seen a lot of C-dramas but this one keeps me surprising each moment. The sweetness, the sadness, the laughs, the love... all were amazing. I found myself laughing like crazy, melting my heart with the sweetest moments, crying when I can't control the pain. Thank you so much for bringing to us such great history I can't be happier that will be 2nd season. Banana and Orange need their history in the modern world.

I really enjoyed watching Ding Yu Xi he’s a talented actor . He showed us a multifaceted Characterization in Romance of Tiger and Rose. He is also very good in “Romance of a Twin Flower “ with Peng Xiaoran.

A really cute and fun af cdrama. The main couple is really cute together, although I wish they had more romantic scenes and their conflict seems pretty shallow. The plot has a lot of loopholes and can be cliche but amazing actors made me finished it. The maidservants chemistry with Han Suo and Chen Qianqian are top tier. I love all their bickering and kinda wished for more. Zhao Lusi is really a cute and promising actress while Ding Yuxi just made me want to have my own Han Suo! I’m basically smiling like a cheschire cat whenever he do swoon worthy scenes.
Final Rank: Likeable Series

The ending is so sweet and better in my opinion if compared to 'cinderella chef' which has a similar situation of coming back to the modern world but it was a bit messy there and it wasn't satisfactory as it is here, I really liked han shuo in ancient time and got used to his hair style and clothes that I felt weird when I saw him with short hair like in 1st episode but he is handsome nonetheless I really appreciate this story and love it from the bottom of my heart so I want to thank everyone who worked on this wonderful drama and want to thank the channel who let us enjoy it in hugh quality, easy to access and for free too ❤❤ love you so much!!
Edit : I would like to add that I actually didn't like zhao lusi because of her role in cinderella chef I just associate her face with that quiet lady the ml used to work with so I didn't really have the desire to watch any of her dramas but after I saw this drama I really really like her!! She is sooo sweet here !! Wish her and ding yu xi and all the beautiful characters of the drama all the luck and success!! They really worked hard for it!!

omg where do we begin. This was a masterpiece. If she had woken up and he really didn't exist it would have been so sad. Still at least she got to experience love and what it was like to have a mother, sisters, servants, live in a city where women are superior but equal later, even if it was imaginary we got to experience what a screenwriter must invision for their work, and really is beautiful they can see each character come to life when the actors take the roles. If only we could live a whole life in our dreams that would be so cool, we could say we lived multiple lives, but would the life experience we gain in our dream count though? Anyway definitely worth a watch.

Comencé a ver esta historia, la encontraba muy absurda y loca... Pero continúe viéndola, y al final quedó sorprendida de las cosas tan profundas que aborda y que definitivamente solo la comedia puede ser dispensa para abordar tantos puntos. La cuestión de género, de igualdad, el papel del hombre y la mujer, la educación.
El personaje de la suegra y de la madre son sorprendentes, mujeres muy fuertes que viven hasta el final fieles a SUS decisiones. Fue complicado lo de los subtítulos en los tres capítulos que faltan, pero moviendo las herramientas, los obtuve :).
Creo que la pandemia influyó en que un escritor mostrara parte de su trabajo desde su perspectiva y como se siente. Si uno quisiera analizar a fondo a los personajes vaya que saldrian muchas cosas...
