  • Shredding and racing! Two of my favorite things. Schecter has come up with yet another cool design with the Banshee GT. Color matched pickups, racing stripes, 24 extra jumbo frets on an ebony fretboard, set neck, Floyd Rose Hot Rod Special.... the list of pre-installed mods goes on... Does it play as fast as it looks? Let's find out!

Honestly, you've got a point. Schecter pump out some insane guitars, and they've been doing that for a while now. Even they're much cheaper stuff is insane. So yeah, Schecter is a great brand, probably one of my favorites right next to fender, squier, and ibanez and stuff like that.

You always put out consistently great videos. Your reviews of the various different products are clear concise and to the point. This is why I was trying to catch all of your videos that keeps you up-to-date on what is coming out and you have a lot of real reasonably priced products on your reviews. I've said for years we are living in the Golden Age of guitars. The CNC machine has leveled the playing field it doesn't care whether a man in China turns it on or man in the United States turns it on even a $200 guitar which might have cheap wood and parts is still manufactured to exact thing tolerances and can be easily made to play well with a few minor adjustments may be a little fret dressing in this type of thing whereas in the past a cheap guitar was made by low-skilled labor the strings were a half inch off the neck and you really couldn't do anything with it. High-end guitars were made by experience luthier's whose labor was at a premium and because everything was a handmaid these were made well. A CNC machine spits out a guitar in a matter of minutes and even if they're made out of the cheapest wood possible or even composite wood plywood I've even seen plastic bodies they were still accurately cut and when the neck was bolted up to them they easily be adjusted and made to play just as well as a 5 or $10,000 guitar even though they wouldn't have as good a toad and the parts would be cheaper the pickups cheaper the tuners all this stuff you can still get the strings right down low on the neck and make them play well. if you get a cheap guitar made out of Fairly good would it makes a good platform to change out the parts and have a really nice guitar. In fact you could take a guitar that only cost 2 or $300 that has say I'm a hawk anybody in a maple neck and put better Parts on it then you would get on a five or $10,000 Custom Shop guitar and with a little fretwork would end up being a better guitar than the expensive Custom Shop guitar for a fraction of the price. this was not possible in Years Gone by because as I said cheap guitars would have been made by low- some of the greatest music in history has was made on instruments that were way less quality than instruments are today. people just don't know how lucky they are to be able to go out and buy a guitar for $200 that will allow you to get the string down around 1/16 of an inch off the neck you could not do that in the fast unequivalently price guitar made in the 50s or early 60s you would have never been able to do that with I have held in my hands some of these guitars and you would never be able to get the strings down on the neck to where they would ever be considered a good playing instrument you'd be lucky if you could get the strings down to a quarter of an inch off the neck without fret buzz. I've often wondered what the Old Masters would have been able to do could they have purchased an inexpensive instrument with the exacting tolerances of today's instruments thinking to myself if they made music that good with strings jacked up off the neck 1/2 of an inch in the air just imagine what they'd be able to do with strings that are under an eighth of an inch off the neck. Come to think of it maybe that's what made them so good if they got as good as they did with really poorly playing instruments later when they can afford a good instrument it would probably have seemed like falling off a log playing these high-quality instruments would have been so easy to them after playing on some of the crap they grew up with. Young'uns today have it made!!
    God Bless You
    & Your Family!!

I have a sexy blue Mustang GT, only thing I was missing was a sexy blue Banshee GT and here it comes. I feel like this is a must for me :))
Funny thing will be my car does not have a racing stripes but my guitar will lol Then I should just do exact same stripes on my car :))
Now they need to make a sustainiac version of this - Schecter Banshee GT Sustainiac - sounds sick too
One negative is a $1k Shecter should have Floyd Rose 1000, from what I remember Floyd Rose Special is a lower end one and it does not stay in tune as well as 1000, but my experience is a little bit old, they might be way better now. I only have 1000s.
