- Roger is back but this time he is prepared. The goal was to crack the 300k mark - not including infinite mode after the second Sheriff, as these can't be submitted - but the game had other plans for us. Though I can't complain too much, given the other plan includes an insane amount of legendaries.

One issue with the crit explosions is lag. You can get to a point where it's unplayable. So going without explosions has its own benefits
Absolutely. The explosions lagged my game af. And it flooded my 64gb of Ram completely.
u can turn off explotions and dmg numbers in options and ur game will run a bit smoother = big difference imo
The 4x attack speed is the only upgrade that 1/3rds your damage that i view as ever worth taking

2:34 actually it benefits from both penetration and bounce, the same with sheriffken, the item that Nigel start with, and even though the bullet doesn’t bounce, it gets the extra pierce.
thx for awsering my question i have had for a while about just that . couldent figure out if bounce counts as penetrate ones u have sheriffen ability.
I'm wondering if it's possible to create an infinite exploding tornado like this:
-get 100% crit
-tornado
-if shots crit they pierce
-if shots crit they explode
and then max dmg/crit dmg/cooldown
Sadly no, i've done this exact combo and it looks like the "If shots crit they pierce" have a limit and eventually my projectiles disappear. Seed is CW4HC so you can try it yourself
@@vanadium166 it actually is the tornado projectiles. They have a hard cap of 10 pierces
most run i do is for the crit, i dont like the legendary 100% crit or the 4 time faster and 3 time less dmg. Funny you like them most :D
the sheriffken also goes out farther with projectile speed
On one hand i like this style of commentary, on the other hand ou totally spoiled the whole video in the beginning.
my best bounty is over 800 000 . CD reduction /dmg and crit dmg builds are insane . had to quit the run due to being immortal XD couldent die even if i wanted to . damn grenade and CD reduction on shield and auto heal when dameged .
I assume you went endless, only bounty until the second sheriff is considered for the leaderboard :D but I think you'll enjoy the next upload about it :p
The sheriffkens do scale with AOE.
They buffed (imo) the hyper crit chance item to do only +60% crit, but only halve your damage. Yes, sheriffken is buffed by area, heavily tested it when I thought that you had to beat infamy 10 with Nigel to unlock a passive weapon start for him like you do Serra (you don't). They nerfed explosions, though...now each projectile can only trigger 3x. Still good at high attack speeds and virtually a must-get when you see it, but its screen clearing was nerfed just a bit
I have the record for duo, trio, and quad. The singles record requires alot of luck, its harder to get
The best upgrades for highscore, Is actually triple shot, shooting behind, shooting faster, and 200 damage before skeletons, and 400 after first boss. And if you want 1st place you need to do this with Ollin with lowest Cooldown possible. The reasons its so hard is because you need lots of purple cooldowns to get the record, plus the luck to get the other things i mentioned early enough.
i can not find any guides to this game at all, like what is seed? and what to do every day?
So I found a spot in the first phase of the mole boss guy where you never take damage when standing still. So if you test this the red circle of the dynamite is actually bigger than its hitbox, so you can stand in the middle of the top left one and the middle one he throws. If you want I can also send you an image or a video on where to stand

I have 296k atm one tip i can give you is to dodge fireballs and bombs with a dash so your atk speed doesnt reset
And i think crit explosions dont get you over 250k because you need way to much for it to deal dmg
I have a weird bug where when I dodge and give directional input but let go of the key, then the char keeps walking. Any idea whats up with that?
Funny enough about your 250k comment, I had a run with the explosions that worked out but ended up on 258k, so your prediction is quite precise. It was a top run with 4 card selection first, extra damage, extra attack speed, split attacks, always crit etc.
I think what may be A LOT better is explosions and no guaranteed crit, then putting crit to only 50%. But all in all that experience lowered my expectation for it a lot. I do believe there is a scenario where crit explosion becomes the best option IF you get a ton - I really mean a ton - of golden upgrades for stats, mostly because at that point of super stats only explosions clear more, the attackspeed doesnt help anymore but shooting more bullets into the same direction (since it resets only when the enemy died)
