crazy bc all printers have a a code that is printed into everything you print. they are called yellow dots, secret dots, DocuColor tracking dots, or machine identification codes (MICs). They can identify the printer that produced the document, and sometimes when it was printed or copied. thats a rabbit hole worth going down.

It is easily defeated by covering the patterns. You can even scan the money or take a picture of it and photoshop it to your needs. Counterfeiting is hard because it is not just on paper. Not only do printers, photocopiers, etc stop that, but on the off chance you succeed in printing, it's actually illegal in pretty much every country to copy any money. No matter how shoddy the quality turns out, it's counterfeit, and you can't defend with, "it's just a picture," so unless your butt feels lonely and empty, there's literally no reason to even try this.

That's not how money laundering works. You don't literally print money in money laundering. You just inject your wrongfully gained money (actual money) into a legitimate business that you also own, to "clean" that money. That way, you can legally use your wrongfully made money, with almost no repercussions. Like Walter did with him meth business and his car washing business.
What Arun showed here is counterfeiting. While, you can launder this money into a legitimate business, that doesn't constitute this crime itself. Meaning, how you make that money is counterfeiting / selling drugs / being in the mafia, and how you legally spend that money is by laundering it. Different things.
