Actually, there was at least one other set with similar properties. In Atlantis there was a research base that could transform into a big submarine. Thats the problem with a lot of these contests for children that allow adults to enter, Kids are almost never gonna win them. Kids don't have the funds or the skills necessary to build the kind of builds that win contests, with probably only a dozen boxed sets and low quality builds from those sets on average. Its why competitive games that allow kids to enter them tend to split them up between junior and senior divisions, Kids aren't gonna win games against an adult unless that kid is REALLY good, the adult is REALLY bad, or the adult lets them win. Lego should really do something similar for their contests, have 2 of them: One for adults and one for kids. That way everyone wins.

What tribes could rise up and become the enemy ? Simple : dinosaurs. One of the early concept art of Chima Wave 3 actually has a dinosaur ( T Rex or Raptor ) ice hunter. I heard multiple times fans wanted dragons or sea creatures in Chima. But dinosaurs were what I heard a lot of fans wanted. A CZcamsr ( can't remember his name though ) made a custom season of Chima where dinosaurs attacked Chima ( not in minifig form but the large molds from JW ). One thing I do remember about this custom series was it stopped after the episode " The Tunnel Cat Cave".
