During their 10th Anniversary Tour finale in November 2023, Saiki accompanied herself on piano during a solo performance of "Choose Me". Just her and the piano. It shocked everyone at the concert. The band also played "Choose Me" again with Kanami, MISA, and Saiki walking on a catwalk that circled the arena.
From everything I have heard about their concerts so far, I see that no a single show is the same, each have their own charm to it making it impossible to miss any of them💞
Welcome Home Princess Sofi, po! I hope you are having a wonderful day. "Unseen world" is a great album from start to finish. Several songs on that album focus on Kanami quite a lot, especially "HGK" where she absolutely shreds throughout the song, and all of her solos throughout the album were outstanding. Misa did a lot of shredding throughout most of the album too, especially in songs like "I Still Seek Revenge" and "No God." Akane's drum parts are absolutely insane throughout most of the album, and her part in "Black Hole" is really amazing, especially considering the blistering tempo of 220 beats per minute. I'm guessing that Akane went through tons of bananas during the recording sessions. Please take very good care of yourself and have an amazing week. The simple fact that Miku refers to Kanami as Kanami-Sensei speaks volumes as to the respect they all have for her work. (at 12:34 ish). Very sad that they didn't get to play the Bodukan after all. You may not know that the Budokan concert that they were so looking forward to in this interview got cancelled because of Covid. So now it's a little sad hearing the interview and knowing what they didn't know then.

There is also a brief video of the Budokan show being announced following another of their shows. They were so excited as it's a very big thing to be able to play Budokan. Sadly, Covid ruined that for them. Hopefully someday soon they will get to play that show! If you want to see that video, just search - Band Maid Budokan - it should pop up easily. But it's a bit sad knowing how things turned out.

There are 4 versions of the Unseen World album. The first release, Limited Edition, was 2 CDs of 7 songs each but one song, Manners, was on both CDs. Another release "First Press Limited Edition" had 12 songs, "Youth" missing and a DVD/Blu-ray with 4 White Room instrumentals. Then there is the normal edition which has 13 songs, still missing "Youth' but including the instrumental 'Without Holding Back." Finally there is an all instrumental CD which came with the Unseen World scorebook.
Tbh I'm a big fan of multiple versions of albums, hopefully with a new album release soon I can get the limited Edition ones🌸
Sadly, the Budokan show that they had such hopes for in this interview was also cancelled due to a second round of lockdowns due to Covid. That is why the Yokohama Arena concert is so good -- it shows what an all-stops-out Band-Maid show in a big venue looks like. I *_highly_* recommend you get and watch the DVD or Bluray of the Yokohama Arena concert. It was a fantastic show. The CZcams excerpts from the concert are great, but they don't show the half of what went on in that concert -- epic solos from every member. Saiki's solo. And silly things like Akane doing a spur of the moment model walk down the runway complete with the gestures of a fashion model. I have a number of Band-Maid DVDs, but Yokohama is my favourite. You would love it, I am sure. The good thing is: it is perfectly legal to overdose on Band-Maid!

They sell higher priced VIP tickets, but general admission tickets were usually $30-$40 USD for their recent US tours.

On Band-Maid Prime and on the fan club, you can switch the language to English (bottom right of the screen). Band-Maid Prime is either 1100 yen per month, or 12,100 yen for the entire year. Be warned that Unseen World is a masterpiece, but it is also quite heavy - and also, the rumours of a UK concert are just that: rumours.

Band-Maid's general admission is 8,000yen (about $60 in the US) in Japan. A VIP ticket costs about 3 times more.
Their schedule for this fall and winter is pretty empty, so there is a reasonable chance that they may do an European tour including the UK in fall or winter. When that happens, however, you need to act very quickly because their tickets will be sold like hotcakes🎫🥞

I recently got the all instrumental album version of this and it was completely different. I do love Saiki's voice but that was sick.

I have my notes from last year as to what they intend to do in 2024. In the order that they were given- 1) Spring- New videos (we now know are Yokohama Arena full show DVD and single song videos from the same show). 2) Spring/Summer- New Album. 3) Collaboration/Joint Tour? (we now know that there is Bestie, a music collaboration (Mike Einziger- Incubus) and one show in Japan with The Warning 12 June). 4) Day Of Maid Concert, Zepp Haneda on 10 May (so coming soon). 5) Spin Off Show Zepp Yokohama 22 Feb (Done). 6) Acoustic Akyuji- Line Cube Shibuya 20 Mar (Done). 7) Hall Tour Japan- Nagoya 28 June, Fenice Sakai 5 July and Kanagawa 14 July. Hope this is of some use, although there is always the chance of changes- or errors on my part. Still Loving your reactions.- top job!

Sofi, when I first heard Conqueror, I was much like you. The only song that really hit with me was Flying High. It's still my favorite form that album. But gradually, I have really come to love Conqueror! I think hearing their Christmas acoustic album helped me to better appreciate the beauty of that album. I listen to it often now, from start to finish, no skipping, po!
I'm starting to enjoy Flying High to, I am slowly getting there Po!
But I do have to say that overall its a great album😊 can't wait to dive into it more💞
@@FaroSofi Yes, at first, I wasn't too keen on it, but boy has it grown on me! And truly, listening to the entire acoustic album will help you fully appreciate Conqueror. Sometimes songs catch you right away. Others just take a little time. Keep up the great work!
The sad part about this interview is they were so looking forward to the Budokan music festival, which they felt would be a breakout for them. Unfortunately, Budokan was cancelled due to the pandemic. The band was so disappointed by that. They still talk about that disappointment to this day.

Kanamie has a degree in the University of Economics and also a degree in Management
Kanami plays both the lead guitar and rhythm guitar for their studio recordings. This is why Akane is offering sympathy to Miku who will have to learn the rhythm parts before they play live and Kanami doesn't make it easy for Miku.
Ahh, that's impressive on Kanami's part but sending prayer for Miku tho😆
Euro-tour Po? Please tell us what you have heard! If they do announce something, it will most likely be during their Day of Maid show - May 10th. Keep your eyes and ears open!

@@FaroSofi Same here, nothing but unfounded rumors. But they have nothing scheduled after mid summer, I think. My guess is, if there is a tour coming, they'll make it known on May 10th - the Day of the Maid. Also, as per ticket prices, general admission are very reasonable at least as of 2022 and 2023. VIP and Ultimate VIP are more. Last year VIP was $100 US and Ultimate VIP was double that, I think. Hope that helps.
@@FaroSofi If you are looking for a good video to react to, have you done Unleash!!!!! yet? this song/video chronicles the battle against Covid and how they wanted to Unleash all that pent up emotion from not being able to play and see their beloved masters and princesses. Knowing this really adds power to that video. I still get pumped up listening and watching it. Also, the video is part Anime and part actual video. It's a lot of fun!

@@FaroSofi Yes! It's excellent! It details their battle against the pandemic and how they won in the end! And when that song came out it was like a rallying cry. I like to refer to it as Band Maid's "F U Covid song." LOL. You'll see what I mean. Very powerful live, too!
