Wouldn't recommend it. The coating inside the fryer can scratch. Better to hand wash with a soft sponge. No brillo or abrasive pad.

Depends on the model. I did a search on Google for "T-fal deep fryer cleaning". That'll be a good place to start. Hope you have success and a good one.

Degreaser and scouring pad.
Depending on how caked on the grease is or how long it's been sitting, will dictate how many times you have to do it until clean.
