Thank You Emma for all the help on the different kinds of paper! Last night I switched my paper up to Arches and I recently got a new set of 24 Schmincks paints! I couldnt believe the difference in my paper and what it would do for me! I have been using Arteza for the past year and could never get my paints to spider bleed. I figured you were just to Queen of beautiful bleeds! LOL No you really are too. I painted this with you last night and was so happy and impressed with what it would do. Thank you again.
Very Pretty to say the least. I haven't tried flowers yet. I might have to do that because due to C-19 he is a home because no one wants to remodel their homes. So I don't have time to paint without him looking over my shoulder, meaning I cannot paint his Valentine's Day card. Looks like its flowers. Thank you so much for your instructional videos. Hugs ♥♥♥
Thank you Emma, I really learn a lot from you and appreciate you using the cheap paper. I can't afford arches and most can't so it can be frustrating when all the tutorials are on arches and we can't get the same effects.

Thank you for this! Total “AHA!” moments. I would love to see a series based on this, starting with total beginner materials and subjects (ie, loose florals), then a step-by-step progression with better quality materials and more advanced techniques. I am so visual-it really helps to see the differences and progressions.

Well so far all I can paint loose is roses...or more accurately blobs lol. I'm used to painting details but there is something so relaxing about painting loose flowers. I glad I gave it a try :)
You've mentioned paper quality in other videos, and as a beginner (like, real beginner Haha it's been less than a month) After I painted through my supply of regular paper, I bought the "premium" quality and OH MY! The difference is huge! What a great move that was! Thank you for all your advice!! I love watching your videos!

Thank you for this video! I think that will help. I started painting this summer and I've recently started getting frustrated with the Canson paper. But I'm not sure if I'm quite ready to step up the Arches paper. Maybe after a little more practicing I should just go buy it and see what happens!

So this Video really helped me. I noticed that it almost never happened on arches paper so I am going to use it from now on. 🙏🏻❤️

Hi Emma . I am a big fan of your channel.Can you answer what should i buy canson xl or canson montval
I have paper from Arches but I really struggle with knowing how much water to use. Sometimes the brush ends up being too dry and the areas that I paint end up being dry in some areas, or I end up with puddles... would it be more of a brush problem? Water control is so key and I just can't seem to get it right!

I’ve actually used Bee Paper a lot (more so in my older videos). Take a look through my videos. I always go through the matierials I’m using at the beginning of the video
