The NEET counseling process involves centralized and state-level counseling for admission to government, deemed, and private medical colleges. Key factors include NEET score, budget planning, college selection, counseling process, and timely decision-making. It also explains the centralized and state-level NEET UG counseling processes, document verification, choice filling, and seat allotment.
Importance of NEET counseling and seat allotment process in medical college admissions in India. Different types of counseling - centralized and state, are conducted by the MCC for various colleges.
There are two types of NEET Counseling:
1. All India Quota (AIQ) Counseling: This counseling process is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). It is applicable for 15% of the total seats in government medical and dental colleges across India. Candidates who qualify for NEET and wish to apply for AIQ seats must register for this counseling.
2. State Quota Counseling: Each state conducts its counseling process for the remaining 85% of seats in government and private medical/dental colleges. The counseling process, eligibility criteria, schedule, and seat allotment method vary from state to state. Candidates must register for state quota counseling in the respective state if they wish to seek admission.
AIQ and State Quota counseling processes follow a similar pattern of registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission process.

agar nri sponsor se mbbs karte hai toh uske baad jab neet pg k registration karte hai toh usmai fir normal mai apna obc quota se form bhar sakti hu kya? Yaah fir nri sponsor se hi bharna hota hai neet pg ka form ??
