GOLF "Down Swing" HAVE YOU TRIED THIS?

Sdílet

  • čas přidán 6. 08. 2024
  • Have you tried this super simple downswing starter motion which is what all golfers need. The downswing requires an element of sequencing which is not an easy thing to master, that is until now. Focusing on an area of the body during the downswing can ensure a super simple downswing starter move for a completely separate part of the body.

    Like your hat which rhymes with today’s chat. Loved the message, give it a go tomorrow. Shoulder and chin to keep the swing in. Well after giving it a go
    it gave me the mojo,
    time to move to the lead leg
    which results in hitting fairways in reg! Thats giving you poetic justice for a great channel.

    Steve, words cannot describe how powerful this simple tip is! You're a genius! At the range last night, I swear I had never been able to hit such long and straight irons, and consistently too! Downswing did not feel rushed but sequenced. The sound and trajectory of the ball coming off the club face...simply orgasmic. This nugget would solve 100% of amateurs' over the top problem. Yours is the only golf instruction channel the world needs. The others are just posers.

    @winhornby Před 3 lety

    A beautifully simple tip. This is the part of the golf swing that I find the hardest to master. In my anxiety to give the ball a big bash I tend to throw my arms at the ball far far too early. Two things invariably happen 1. It actually goes nowhere- all power is lost.2 I come over the top and either slice badly or (whisper it the dreaded sh**ks make an appearance). On the few occasions when it comes out of the sweet spot and I briefly look that I might know what I am doing it has been that I haven’t rushed to hit it from the top. So this tip about the left shoulder has been a light bulb moment as far as I am concerned. Thanks again and I hope you get to 50000 because you certainly deserve to, Mr Johnston!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you. This actually seems to work! I've been a slicer all my (golfing) life but have made a huge effort this year to fix my out-to-in swing. As a result, I've massively confused myself about weight-transfer, turning my hips and tucking my elbow. This simplifies all of that - just think about left-shoulder as I start down. Hopefully simple enough to work on the course. Thank you.
