Had the pleasure of sharing a stage with Megan at Byron Bay Bluesfest this year (rockwiz). Highlight of my year no doubt. Keep on doing what you are doing, it's bloody great.
What Megan can do is sing her own songs beautifully just as good as her album versions. Even better most the time too! Very rare and I think only about 1% of the entire music industry can actually do this.
So beautiful! Music from the heart touches the heart, and needs so artificial creations to sustain it. This song cuts through the traffic and street lights. When you leave your body as the immortal light, the happiness you've given others will be present before you.
I was in Fremantle in February last & saw a Canadian babe singing & playing the guitar at a street festival..she was a powerful, charismatic performer..gr8 original songs...the crowd was cheering for more.....in contrast, M Washington is yet another Aussie chick singer/songwriter who the music accountants have picked up to sponsor...for about 2 years until they drop her for the NBT.....no artistic hook at all.....nice enough though...but not compelling.
So few people are blessed with such perfect singing voices.
