Some buildings damaged by the 1999 bombings in Belgrade were left as they are as a reminder. It was very controversial when NATO decided to bomb the buildings of the national television as military targets, while only civilians were working there. Many journalists and civil personal died during these attacks.
That's very sad. It happened not that in the past. Felt weird to see the buildings in the city. Like time has stopped there or something.
Hey, thanks for sharing positive things about my country. I traveled Japan last year, and your country is just amazing. I had great time in Japan - Osaka, Tokyo, Okinawa, Nagasaki, Fukuoka... Great food, clean streets and nice people.
dont feel unconfortable to walk alone Serbia is safe place and you can walk alone in 4 am, btw that strudlica is sweet and we dring yogurt with salty meals lol

Welcome to Serbia, Japan is very popular country in Serbia, we love japanese people, two countries has almost exellent relationships, if we "exlude" Kosovo question.
I live in England but my dad is serbian and mum irish , I visit Belgrade often !! ❤
Have to come during summer time, Belgrade has changed a lot within one yr. Also I recommend you to visit beautiful Novi Sad,the second largest city in Serbia just 80 km north from Belgrade. Hope by then, high-speed rail will be finished. Stay good.

Hey! this is my 3rd vid of yours hehe. Just a note you'll want to be more in detail with the words you use when you translate "modern". It could be misunderstood that you were sort of putting the city down as "being behind the times" when instead, it seems you were really indicating that there were less historic architecture in Belgrade and more modern design here and you were surprised about that. That's just how I interpreted the communication. Kudos to you for solo traveling. It's so fun!
