I think Doc said "mandatory to dupe sand", not "do sand" (subtitles at 1:10). Which would actually make a lot of sense considering the whole duping sand debacle.

Damn, Hermitcraft Recap has some of the most unhinged and over the top obscure references of all time that probably fly over most of the audience's heads, sometimes including mine too, yet are still an absolute blast if you don't fully realize it.
Huh. I had never actually considered that this Season has in fact set up a wonderful joke about the server needing to be functional so 'The postal service keeps on working, and the trains run on time'.
As a former USPS employee, I'm fairly sure our motto never included "neither exploding fireworks, nor grainy potatoes, nor live boxes of grumble in the sortation equipment"...

It's easier to convince an American company to give you health insurance than it is to get an American version of the NHS, for... historical reasons.

Other countries have capitalism and still have socialized health care, so the United States is an outlier.

i've been swamped the past few weeks and haven't been able to catch up on my favorite hermits. it's moments like this i really appreciate the work you guys do. i'll eventually go back and watch the episodes i missed but it's nice to have a quick recap

i'm pretty sure there's a mistake in subtitles at 1:12, it sounds/seems more logical (imo) Doc says "dupe sand" and not "do sand"
