But how do you do it while your ps5 tv is off? Pls help
This isn't switching the ps5 off and on this it putting it into rest mode and then taking it out of rest mode?
yes your correct thats because you cant turn on the ps5 with a portal only wake it up from rest mode as portal wont connect if ps5 is actually powered off
yeah kinda misinforming tbh. rest mode is different from shut down.

When I am finished playing with game on portal how do I switch back to continue playing the game on the tv ?
Just hold the power button on the portal, cutting it off. Then, go and press the ps button on your console controller. Your game won’t miss a beat.
So if your on holiday and switch on the ps portal, it will turn on your ps5 which then turns on the tv at home? sounds a bit of a headache.
Turn off the mode through your TV settings. So when you turn on the portal only the ps5 runs not the tv

No, the portal relies on your playstation, it's not its own console unfortunately
So the portal just stays in restmode after you disconnect? If so this will drain the battery. I tried that but i turned the portal completely off and could not wake the ps5 again.
No. You turn the portal off after.

Yes, it’s important that it’s in restmode. Not possible if its completly off. Sadly:(

You must write wake up PS5 from rest Mode and not turn Off/On. Misleading Titel
