I'm gonna give some honest feedback here, I like the LED mod, hell, it could even be done with incandescent/filament bulbs for older decks if you like the yellow-ish color they give off, but I don't like the speaker mod, because you'll likely be using the deck as a component so the need for the built-in speakers is unnecessary, but all around you did a good job with it.

I like the LED mod, though I'd have probably used warm white to maintain the oldschool look, as back in the day they'd have used little incandescent bulbs due to LED lighting being in its infancy. But cool as it was to see you 3-D print your own speaker enclosures, volume dial and trim rings, I think I'd have left the cabinet alone. Still, enjoyed watching the process.

There are plenty of other Technics out there, I guess. One modification on one equipment like on this video will not hurt you, but if everyone starts making these modifications, I agree that's a waste.
Same with speaker blowing videos, and cars and so on

Than Hái, could you do a video of how to connect the LEDs, so they light up with the powerswitch on the tapedeck? I would like to do that with my Denon DRM-740.
    Nice video btw👍

@@kalledisco bring the power from the transformer to the LEDs. You will just need to run some longer wires to them
