The problem with keeping Sato unconscious is that he can control his ghost even if under the sedatives, making them basically useless since he can just kill himself with his ghost, nullifying their effects. He did it in season 2 near the finale. Killing him repeatedly might be the best solution under that condition since that stops him from using the ghost by severing his connection with it...
my solution to this is take a stake or a knife and jam it in the back of his neck through his brain and then tape it down this will ensure he can’t revive without the blade being removed and he won’t be able to summon ghosts

@@thesuperdoge2476 Ajin produce everything their bodies need if lacking the resources. This means he would produce his own oxygen if left underwater for some time, making it basically impractical. Granted, as far as we can see, he would not be able to control his ghost but keep in mind that this is a man who implanted a bomb in himself so he can escape. Now, showing him in concrete and then into water, followed by more concrete would maybe work for some time but he can live forever so there honestly are no permanent solutions, maybe just put him on the rocket and send him too far from Earth, he would still be alive but someone else's problem XD

Creativity isn't restricted to one nationality or ethnic group, and the Japanese definitely aren't the most creative.
If you look at other countries, you'll see works more creative than this come out of every culture.

I loved how the last revelation of the series took away all the fear an Ajin could have except the testing rooms.
The moment I saw Kaito, I knew he was best boy. Man was willing to ditch his own life in order to rescue his friend MULTIPLE times. AND he’s cute? Mad respect.
Everyone I know hates that the anime adaption is done in 3D but I legitimately LOVE Ajin. The 3D animation makes each character's movement feel like they carry weight, same goes for the IBM's themselves. The soundtrack for the anime is great, the English dub is surprisingly good (HELLO??? ENGLISH DUBBED SATO???) and the story itself is great. My favourite character spot is split between Mr. Sato and Izumi, but I love every single one of the main cast. Brilliant anime, another great survival vid!

I agree I’m not really a fan of 3D so I was hesitant to watch it at first but I ended up watching it and really liking it.

I remember seeing this shows a bit after it first came out on Netflix and at first wasn't a fan of the 3D but it ended up being really good

19:50 Another suspicious thing is that if you can communicate via your black spirit creatures then why put yourselves at risk by actually coming together and going to an abandoned location when you can all seem to control your creatures at a safe distance? They could have had that meeting in the street right there and no one would have known.
Black ghosts only last about a minute for most ajin and most can only summon once or twice a day so that would have to be a very quick conversation.

@@jakolken7131 They can somehow talk though. There was this scene when Kei and his friend were being chased and got beaten up by two men. Kei's ghost mimicked Kei's words before killing them by getting hit by a train.
@@sussusamongus6592 Kei's ghost are also special. Sato's ghost also speaks, but usually only repeats his actions. Ghosts are not super good at communicating
The reason they were using that technique to incapacitate Sato like that is because they really didn't knew abt the black ghost...it's a good technique given the context and it was to provide time for the experts to incapacitate him cerebraly imho
Finally, an anime teenager that actually looks like a teenager. Who also acts like one too. He's not thinking ahead, he's thinking in the immediate sense.
What really confuses me is that they live in Japan of all places; most asian countries wear face masks if you have so much as a minor cold out of respect for others not wanting to spread their illness among other benefits. It's commonplace. You're telling me your face has been plastered all over the country and you didn't think to grab a facemask even once while you're on the run? You wouldn't look out of place in Japan if you were unless you're hiding in the woods. And frankly, if I wanted to hide away I'd hide in plain sight in a major city WITH A FACE MASK. Until things die down. Stay on the outskirts sure, but I'd still be in an area populated enough that it would be considered normal to wear a face mask and starting a fight would be dangerous for everyone.

it took me some times to get used to the animation. But then i got addicted to that kind of animation. Precise character shapes, correct lights and shadows and smoother movements. Those ghosts r really hard to animate so its understandable

Well first you need to somehow get them to that volcano, and make sure you yourself survive long enough to throw them in... the same goes for cementing, you still need a way to immobilize them long enough

Actually no, Sato had no idea they'd use actual guns to take him down. It was extremely close Sato's group had to adapt on the fly to win that battle.
Having his captors put his shotgun beside him in the stretcher is also part of his plan.

Because Sato knows how to counter tranquilizer darts easily. He just resets himself with his shotgun, so it's extremely difficult to actually beat him that way. This was a new tactic that would have worked if it wasn't for those snipers.

Probably the best idea i have heard but u still face the issue of getting him to the hospital in the first place.
for others who did not watch the full episode or read the manga, the JSDF(Japan's SWAT team) did not use tranquilizer darts due to potential backlash by the public as these darts are only used for animals, hence using it on humans would be treating them as animals.
This anime would be more popular if it was 2d. Very underrated, i’d recommend the manga

aside from wrong pronounciations (which is understandable if you arent native or learned the language) you guys are doing an amazing job. it is very entertaining to watch these vids, gives me also anime to watch later when i have the time
One problem of trying to do a lobotomy (or analogous) on Sato on site is that if they accidentaly kill him in the process, he will be back and they won't be sure, and iirc they're already aware at least about the scream stun capability of ajins, so risking him coming back for 1 second, even disable (tendons cut or whatever) could men death

Ya know it would be a lot better to make the experiments an optional job for ajins. I'm sure you get used to dying after a while so getting paid 100k or more to die 3 or 4 times a day with a lunch in between, PTO and benefits for family since they'll be a normal part of society. That way there's ajin in law enforcement, ect.
As long as you have access to water: dried food. I’m serious cans weigh so much and most snacks are only fast filling. Drink water and refill out of the park, from the sink in the bathroom, instead of carrying more bottles the whole time. Also, self defense items. Maceing someone is way less exposing than scream-freezing them

i ended up watching the anime and manga before this video cuz i forgot i hadnt done so yet and literally the biggest thing that annoyed me was the lack of self-awareness from the characters sometimes. PLEASE how hard was it just to change your shirt, put on a hat and a face mask? The aijins are walking around as if they aren't easily recognizable- and even if they weren't they are _covered_ in blood. I think that was mostly an anime issue since they probably didn't want to animate new shirts but it was something that peeved me.
edit: also for later on when Kei and the gang got access to weaponry and protection due to working with Tusaki, why didn't they get some form of protection? Even if they come back to life, it still takes time to reset themselves and that is time wasted on an active battlezone.

A problem i have with this kind of anime\manga is that they people suddenly will hate you without any problem. At the start basically they dumped him really easily once they knew he was a ajin, I think they would have a reason to distrust them after what sato did but before that is mind-blowing the facility in which people have to hate him. At least in the manga it seems to correct this, with somewhat redemption of the part of the mother.

Honestly even if i knew i could resurrect i would still try and live as if i couldn't. When it comes to spirits and forces and whatnot, we don't really know when or how something might change so as far as i know i could lose that power and wouldn't know it until it's too late. but they do know how ajins dying works natural body failure and they know ajins don't just stop being ajins, since they have been studying them. so really the only reason an ajin has to avoid death is that it hurts.
I think it's funny that even though Kaito HAS A HELMET THAT COVERS MOST OF HIS FACE he doesn't give it to the kid that was just on the news and will be recognized by literally everyone they pass. Bruh.

they literally go in depth into this in the anime about how to counter the Ajin, mostly from locking them in a room for experimentation or burying them alive. Sedation is also a viable tactic
I feel like Kei (if that's how it's spelled) Shouldn't have been worried about getting his head cut off. If sato can shoot himself in the head and still have the same identity when he regenerates that implies that you would probably keep your original conscience regardless of if your bodyless head decided to grow an entirely new body or if your headless body decided to grow a new head.
he was scared about a metaphorical death since the new brain is technically a clone, while sato doesn't give a shit about it and is willing to jump into a wood chipper

8:58 stupid idea Ajin can’t die you would waste more lives and he can just ignore them and focus on the enemy ajin due to his invisibility making it not only harder for use due to the fact we are the good guys, but also making it easier for him to join the crowd and attack us directly and kill the rest of the people with his ghost as well making it severely uneven battle. Even if I was in the bed he could just kill me first then attack the nurses and due to the fact you control your ghost he could wait on an escape route of mine and grab me himself.
A better idea would be to open the window to make it seem like that was the route of my escape while actually hiding under the bed until the fight is over.
I would suggest a how to beat video on Shiki. Both from human and vampire side. Both sides made plenty of mistakes, vampire side plan was doomed from the start even if the succeeded.
Well, Sato's first wave is quite different from the manga, but I understand why it has to be changed in the anime.

I’ve gotta say that you’re a bit too murder-happy. Killing the old lady and using her house as a base stood out the most to me. If she has any social connections in town, someone will eventually notice she is missing and go to her house to check. It will take a shorter amount of time due to her age and the associated health risks from falls & such. Even if you move on before that happens, murders provoke manhunts.
