Couple questions John. 1. Is there a direct way to contact you for content requests or gaming questions or is just the random post here sufficient. 2. I loved your played it sold it series. I was wondering if you could do some other series like a certain designer but my big request, and because you really focus on solo with multiplayer being the bonus; could you do a top X but with categories about time. So for instance keeping it simple best solos under an hour under two hours and 2+? I’m sure others are with me in that the awesomeness review of a game is great, but if I’m heading on vacation and an easy under hour game that is small or something would be helpful review. Sure Mage Knight might be the greatest solo game ever for people but I’m not putting it in my suitcase to go on a family vacation. Anyway love your stuff, love how you present, I know I’ve commented before, your lack of over produced content is why I come to you. I know you spend more time reviewing the game and not making it entertaining (not that this isn’t entertaining)but you aren’t trying to make jokes or be a Sand Worm in a sleeping bag (I did laugh at that susd but though) Thanks again John it’s my hope someday you get asked for a No Fluff gameboard review sticker for a seal of approval on solo games.
I really appreciate the feedback. I do plan on doing more Solo and Sold it soon. I just have been really busy as of late. As for as contacting me, just comment on any of my videos. I read and respond to just about every comment I get. I had not thought about doing a best solo games for a particular play time. That is a good idea and I will give that some thought! So...I'm a little surprised that you don't have Books of Time (by Board & Dice, with solo mode by DAVID TURCZI) yet. I got it a couple days ago, played, and BOY is it a good one! Put in that order asap!
@@JohnLaRuffa No problem. I love the win conditions of at least a certain number of points plus fulfilling 3 different challenges. Very high variability each game because of all the combinations of challenges you can do from 3 tiers. Reminds me of the challenge system of Founders of Teotihuacan, but i sold that one off last year. Definitely didn't like it as much as Books of Time, which has extremely unique mechanics. Building your own books filled with combos is something I've never seen before. Permanent keeper for me.
