We're running more like 250 and I wondered if it would be crowded, but the end result has been cleaner, healthier birds and a much more consistent product than we had in our Salatin style tractors last year, even moving them twice a day at the end. (75 in a 10x12). Our mortality is down considerably over last year.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. The labor cost this item saved will pay for itself in a couple years plus they can run more chickens in these new models.

@@imnotgaye listen dummy they have 346 followers they need the help you cant just call anyone who has legitimate criticism a karen and on top of they they spent 30k for a chicken caravan wen you can build one that's not susceptible to snow damage for about $2500 CAD
That's different, not sure why u need to spend that kind of money, I raise 20 chickens by my garden cost 20$ for the chickens a year, that's it not expensive or complicated?

Ok, that is the best chicken tractor I have ever seen. Only needs some type of heater for the water system. You will love this for the years to come

Cant wait to see some updates on these! Sounds pricy but the labour savings is worth it I would say!

Should have just uses T post, pvc pipe and greenhouse plastic with wiggle wire. Could have easily saved yourself 25k
Could you raise layers in there?
The manufacturer has a model that's designed for layers, but we've used these for our laying hens in the winter, they stay pretty warm.
How would you do this with Layers? Eggs are expensive. ....
