- "A love so beautiful" was released on "Mystery Girl" which is the last album recorded by Roy Orbison, posthumously released on the Virgin label in 1989. The album became a hit worldwide, reaching #5 on the US Billboard 200, and #2 on the UK Albums Chart.
I heard Brian (QBrianT) play this recently and I was stunned by the beauty of the tune and his playing. (Please check it out)
As a result I just had to record it myself. Like a lot of guitarists on CZcams I get inspiration from my contemporaries, and this is certainly the case here. I hope you like it. Dave

I would have loved it if Rpy Orbison had been singing to this. As I wanted to put it on my facebook page on 11th in loving memory of the most gorgeous man i ever met, my husband, Chris whom i lost in 2003. Rated it without a doubt a thumbs up because Dave Monk played the music beautifully. Still looking for a good background but with Roy singing it. But still might choose it. lovely guitar playing x

You and your guitar bring out the melody of this song so beautifully. Near the end of his life Roy wrote this song with Jeff Lynne and it was used over the end credits of the film “Indecent Proposal”. A tearful moment. 😢
