There is no other Sonic game the captures the gigantic essence of the Sonic universe more than Sonic Heroes. I'm fascinated by environments that seem impossibly huge and have a dreamy feeling to them. All you have to do is stand on an edge and look the the backgrounds to this game and you'll see what I mean.
I love it too. the fact you're like 1000 feet above the city and it looks like the casino is buildings build up that high in an impossible fashion. its really surreal and dreamy like you described. its also the bright vivid colors of the map combined with the AMAZING theme (probably my favourite song) makes the map pure euphoria. old memories.
fantastic comment, it makes me wish these levels were real and the areas around them could be explored, although i do think some levels in the other games do this too - the good future stardust speedway level in sonic cd is a beautiful city lit up with spotlights
The level themes are just one of the reasons why this is easily one of the best 3D Sonic games, if not the best. There's nothing very unique about a generic city or a military harbor. This game just captures the essence of Sonic so well. Bright, colourful, and creative levels which feel huge and dreamy.
everyone be like 'oh this brings back so many good memories ahaha' but meanwhile im here looking up a walkthrough because this level is putting me on the brink of insanity
I remember playing this and Bingo Highway so many times with my old Playstation 2. It honestly brings tears to my eyes, looking at somebody playing this level once again. The memories, music, and the graphics all seem, nostalgic.
Exactly bro! Thank god so much I played this game and especially more to the people who still remember this game like you haha glad to see it the nostalgia is beyond beautifully perfection
Dude , I was literally thinking this can bring me to tears before I read your comment. This was my first GameCube game, got it on my birthday when I turned 10 years old. Man…
for real dude, I was like 10 when I first played this game, for some reason I get memories of being in my parents car driving around and passing by store plazas and me being amazed at all the lights lmao games so good
Somebody said CZcams is the closest thing we will ever have to a time machine, I couldn’t agree more seeing this level and hearing the music brings me to tears. Such a great memory, so nostalgic.
I think because of Casino Park and Bingo Highway, I grew up to like the flashy lady luck of casinos. I'm not a huge gambler but I like to try every now and again.
This was one of my favourite Nintendo game cube games. Crazy to think 11 years ago this video was posted and to this day people can still watch it. This game lives in my heart ❤️
Ah, my favorite and first Sonic game ever, it brings back so many memories (Like when I raced against my sister in multiplayer, we always did multiplayer in this level and fell off so many times X,D). It may have glitched on me quite a few times, but I loved this game with it's attack formation (I like how there's a speed, power, and flight formation but each character still had their own abilities, like Espio's camouflage), the areas (they were wide and big, as well as amazing to look at and fun to explore), the music (ESPECIALLY CASINO PARK!!!), it was all just so much fun XD I had a great childhood with this game.
LITERALLY SAME. I couldnt afford the 360 when 06 first released and was stuck on my pc (which at the time was a pretty god damn powerful pc, it could play any game that came out at the time with ease between 2002/2004). My parents bought me sonic heroes and sonic riders. Man the nostalgia from that game. It brings tears to my eyes. I never got to play it properly because my pc broke but i eventually got a ps2 (my family was still poor but they wanted to make me happy and get what they was able to get me) and got sonic heroes again. I eventually completed the game at around 10/11 years old if i recall.
This is unironically one of my fave Sonic games. The character interactions were so great even if some cheesy moments. And the final secret boss theme is great
I know this game was released 6 months before i was even born but i still remember when i was 3 and playing this incredible game. And this is by far my favourite sonic game and sonic course ever. Thank You SEGA for filling my childhood with this incredible game.
never played heroes, i hear so much good stuff about this game. and after watching this, soooo deserved! casino park looks like an amazing stage, love the music, love the gamestyle, i wanna play heroes!
Ah, my favorite and very first Sonic game. It brings me back many memories. Some of them include when my sisters and I used to be Team Rose (my big sister was Amy, I was Cream and my little sister was Big), playing multiplayer with my big sister while she would occasionally get annoyed by the characters' quotes (especially Tails saying "This is a quick race" on the Quick Race battle), making up theme songs for each level and making our own Sonic Heroes stories. It was so much fun! I had an awesome childhood with this game!
It's been years since I played this game but watching this reminded me of how much I wanted to explore the city below like its a giant circus where the party and fun never ends. Probably the only city I'll happily visit weither its real or not.
So nostalgic!! I remember going over to my best friends house to play this. My siblings were never into sonic. So much better when you have someone to play with
The buildings and roads are a giant pinball machine? Imagine being late to work and being like “Yeah sorry, I got held up at the pinball slots. Kept landing on Eggmans.”
Amy Rose: Next time, I'll catch Sonic. Big: I miss Froggy... Charmy: I'm gonna win big! Cream: So, Sonic has nothing to do with Chocola's disappearance? Espio: No place to hide here. Knuckles: Everything's twinkly and bright. I hate it. Omega: All those lights. What a waste of energy. Rouge: What a bright city. Shadow: What a worthless city. Sonic: What a crazy city. Tails: Wow. It looks fun! Vector: Just part of the job.
ah the memories of this game. only now do I remember the question flying in my head during those times: "who thought it'd be a great idea to have this attack formation? "Alright Knuckles? you are going to throw tails at me. then tails, here, is going to kick my ass to make me shit sparks to propel at SONIC SPEED!!!! all over the damn place, thereby destroying everything in the room. how's that sound?! Uh.. Great! let's get to it!" All I can see there is (kick!) "Ahhh my ass!!!!"
people often don't realize that the PS2 version was waay worse in terms of controls than the gamecube version, which I think heavily influences most peoples opinion on how good Sonic heroes/casino park was. I had the gamecube version (often considered the superior version in terms of controls) and it was THE SHIT when I was young. I lost the game and have been looking for it since I was 16. It's honestly hated more than it really deserves to be, in my opinion, but I assume if you had the PS2 version, the experience was much more difficult. So I understand why some people really don't like this in terms of the wanky controls, if they had a PS2 version.
I wonder what is down there in that city, and why aren't the people down there wondering "UMG WHY IS THERE A BUNCH OF PLATFORMS AND TUBES IN THE SKY WITHOUT SUPPORT"
They should film a Sonic the Hedgehog movie in Las Vegas, Nevada or Reno, Nevada for Casino scene but at nighttime. Once the director of the third Sonic the Hedgehog movie have the permission from the Eldorado Plaza, Silver Legacy Plaza, and Circus Circus Plaza to film it at the resort where Sonic and his friends(Tails and Knuckles) explore the whole Casino, and even at the National Bowling Stadium where they watch the tournament bowlers bowl in the USBC National Bowling Tournament with their permission. Then they can film it in Reno, Nevada or even if they wanted to have bigger Casino City, they could try to film it at the South Point Plaza in Las Vegas where the USBC National Bowling Tournament will be held next year with their permission to film it.
I still have all my GameCube games from. When I was younger. This one and Sonic battle 2 adventure our my favorite! This level and the frog forest were my favorites!
0:11 Reminds me of the fact that my sister Leighanne simply doesn't give up that easy and I am fully aware of it 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😾😾😾😾😾😾😾😾😾😾😾😾.
I loved the soundtrack and design of this stage since childhood, but hated how hard it was to get out of the pinball part because of the controls and mechanics
I always preferred playing with the power and flying characters in Heroes. The speed types like Sonic are so damn slippery, it's ridiculously easy to screw up.
Also using the homing attack is like darn Russian Roulette. Sometimes I can hit and destroy enemies with it sometimes I just take damage for no reason.
This and Bingo Highway could had been two of the best stages in this game, but the terrible pinball controls and physics ruined everything, the pinball minigames from Casinopolis in Sonic Adventure had better controls.
Casino Park is one of the best stages in Sonic Heroes I really got to give this game of a try because Casino Park kind of reminds me of Las Vegas Nevada I can't believe that I missed out on Sonic Heroes
There is no other Sonic game the captures the gigantic essence of the Sonic universe more than Sonic Heroes. Nhat Hoang Vu yesssssssss
Adam Malkovich specially this stage. Brings a feeling of Vegas

"Soniiiiic! We've only got 24 hours left!"
OK, let's go!
why only say ''Sonic we only have one day left!''?
Gabrielplays_br9889 guess there's no difference of the concept time or day
"SOniC! wE'vE oNLy GOt 24 hOurs LEft!"
"the buildings and roads are all part of a pinball table"
Back when life was good
Yep
Just so much nostalgia from this game.
everyone be like 'oh this brings back so many good memories ahaha' but meanwhile im here looking up a walkthrough because this level is putting me on the brink of insanity
I came here for both nostalgia and help with thiss level 💀
Act2 Bingo Highway is much worse lol
Yea since it's old there going to be inevitable death by clunky controls
Watching this brought tears to my eyes ... something about playing this level as a kid always felt special at the time !
Same here the memories one of my favorites this game was so well made back then
My favorite level from this game since I was a kid.
Same mines too
Yeah.. this place was hard as hell but the song and the enviroment is so happy..♡

This game gives me crazy nostalgia. This was always my favorite level in the entire game. It was so much fun and the music was incredible. 😍😍😍
I also remember playing this level when I was a little kid. I used to have a GameCube in which I played Sonic heroes with.

Mario will never achieve this level of awesomeness
this is a joke comment right
I actually don’t know why I said this I love Mario too but his levels just don’t feel like this
I know this game was released 6 months before i was even born but i still remember when i was 3 and playing this incredible game. And this is by far my favourite sonic game and sonic course ever.
Thank You SEGA for filling my childhood with this incredible game.
This is without question.
The BEST stage in Sonic Heroes.
Fight me.
Ocean palace, mystic mansion, and egg fleet were all much better!!! IMo
balls in my face
I like grand metropolis more
Seaside Hill and Casino Park are my favs in Sonic Heroes!
If this is the best, I'm too scared too imagine the worst.
never played heroes, i hear so much good stuff about this game. and after watching this, soooo deserved! casino park looks like an amazing stage, love the music, love the gamestyle, i wanna play heroes!
The music of this level is literally my childhood. 3 years ago I finished this game and still love Casino Park
I love this game!!!! It reminds me of my childhood memories
Same here, miss these memories
Same here. This game was my favorite and first Sonic game ever.
It brings back great memories... Same here
This was my favorite level and the music made it so much better

I honestly hated this and bingo highway. Mainly because of the shit control during the times you roll around leading you to death numerous times.
????
+Nel Kam These guys are random Japanese guys who DON'T understand English. :P
Nel Kam who is he
Don't know, don't care
i hope that this video prove to you that it's you that were shit at the game
0:39, Sonic: Hey, there they are!
Tails: Those are Eggman's robots!
Knuckles: I'll take care of them!
I want a remaster for PS4 already :(
HOW CAN SOMEBODY DISLIKE THIS NOSTALGIC TREASURE
0:25, Tails: This entire city is like a giant casino.
Knuckles: The buildings and roads are all part of a pinball table.
Sonic: Heh, Pretty cool!
In the future, if they remake a sonic game I want this one to be it.
I want it to be sa1
Sonic is way past cool!
The fastest thing alive!!
(Sonic boom rise of lyric comes out)
@@KirbyBandicoot (Sonic Forces Came Out)
jesus this is too old...XP
(Sonic 06 exists)
I've never seen in any sonic game a level this difficult the fucking casino
not that difficult to me i played it before
Tim Xman it's actually fairly easy
The pinball thing is the only difficulty part of this stage.
@@Kanzuki Im hip, I was stuck on that for a minute I think that’s why I wrote the comment. 6 years ago I barely remember lol
5 people got their rings taken by Eggman
It's been years since I played this game but watching this reminded me of how much I wanted to explore the city below like its a giant circus where the party and fun never ends.
Probably the only city I'll happily visit weither its real or not.
Never even had a clue what to do when I was young playing this game, but man those were the good times and good memories...
So nostalgic!! I remember going over to my best friends house to play this. My siblings were never into sonic. So much better when you have someone to play with
I wish we could experience great levels like these again
The Action Syncing at 1:07 brought too much nostalgia chills 🔥🔥 oh and 1:31
loved this game as a kid, I always felt it was the perfect balance of the Genesis era Sonic and the current Sonic that started with Adventure
The nostalgia is crazy but if im being honest this level drove me insane
Without a doubt my favorite BGM for any level in this game
The buildings and roads are a giant pinball machine? Imagine being late to work and being like “Yeah sorry, I got held up at the pinball slots. Kept landing on Eggmans.”
Instead of colors I wish they made sonic heroes ultimate 💛💙❤️
I swear the graphics were better when I used to play this 🤣 Team Dark forever 🖤
Amy Rose: Next time, I'll catch Sonic.
Big: I miss Froggy...
Charmy: I'm gonna win big!
Cream: So, Sonic has nothing to do with Chocola's disappearance?

how's that sound?!
Uh..
Great! let's get to it!"
All I can see there is (kick!) "Ahhh my ass!!!!"
Love that conversation in the beginning of the stage
0:17 Tails, don't be rude. Okay Sonic, LET'S WIN SOME RINGS!
Favorite music and level 💙💜💙💜💙💙
I've always thought Knuckles was saying this while attacking: "Shit! Rock! Euuuuhhh!"
Played this game growing up :) loved this level was so much fun but frustrating at times lolz
Perfect!
4:06
1:24, Sonic: There they are!
Tails: Eggman's robots!
Knuckles: Leave them to me, Sonic!
This made me fall in love with casino levels
I was stuck on this level for a looooooooong time back than
I don't know why, but if I had this game when I was younger, this would've been nostalgic for some reason (0:22).
I first heard this music in Sonic and Sega allstars racing and learned that the casino was this casino
I miss 2004
people often don't realize that the PS2 version was waay worse in terms of controls than the gamecube version, which I think heavily influences most peoples opinion on how good Sonic heroes/casino park was. 0:10-0:23 IMAGINE THIS IN CASINO CALAMITY FROM SONIC PARADOX
Just beaten heroes recently this and frog forest were my favorite stages to play
This game had so much great level music.
Out of all the stages on this game this is the one I hate the most
HOLD UP WAIT A MINUTE THIS WAS THE BEST LEVEL
I love this game from the bottom of my heart. ❤
''This entire city is liek a giant casino'' YOU DONT SAY
I wonder what is down there in that city, and why aren't the people down there wondering "UMG WHY IS THERE A BUNCH OF PLATFORMS AND TUBES IN THE SKY WITHOUT SUPPORT"
Get your game face ready! You’re gonna need it here!
I like how Tails calls it a city, even though the level mission says THEME PARK, and the fricken level is called casino *PARK*
Falling to my death from the game machines in this level used to scare the shit out of me.
Tails' voice is so adorable!
I'm glad this was my first 3d sonic game I miss this so much !!!!
I LIKE THE SONG
I love this music and love this game.

This stage made me really nervous jumping around by those edges going full speed 😆
nostalgic flooding back, almost want to shed a tear.
Bums me out we'll never get a remastered version of this stage because....y'know
G A M B L I N G
Personally the GOAT of sonic games when it comes to 3D. So many memories.
“Boy, Amy sure doesn’t give up that eas-WHAT IS THIS PLACE, SURE IS BRIGHT HERE.”
When you finally turn 21 and you walk into a casino for the very first time hoping to hold you’ll win the lottery
I remember I had this game this was my favorite level because of the music I use to go to the bgm screen and just play this song sometimes
I loved the soundtrack and design of this stage since childhood, but hated how hard it was to get out of the pinball part because of the controls and mechanics
I Liked the music and the stage. Very cool Lets go Sonic Team. Lets go to kick blast some Eggman Robots. :-)
People worry nowadays about gaming teaching kids to gamble, we had an entire casino level, this game was my favorite
There is a way to get in the V.I.P room with Team Sonic and Team Dark. You have to rocket accel past the lasers.
One of my favorite stages fuck
0:50, Sonic: Yahoo!
😂
This was my favorite level as a kid :’)
The song got me like: 🕺🕺💃🕺
omg did he seriously decide to go to the casino with only 24 hours left until eggman conquers the world?
the sega carnival theme from sonic riders works so well with this level
Casino Park is one of the best stages in Sonic Heroes I really got to give this game of a try because Casino Park kind of reminds me of Las Vegas Nevada I can't believe that I missed out on Sonic Heroes
3:16 Did anyone get weird feeling on your stomach when one of these floating enemies catched you? I canno't describe the feeling
I used to play this on my gamecube so much
