As a kid growing up in the 1960s it was so common to hear Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass on AM radio. Love this music and thanks for sharing this particular video recording!
I can remember as a little kid in the late sixties and early seventies hearing the Tijuana brass on New Zealand radio ,and I liked it ,and I remember that my father did as well ,it always seemed like happy summertime music to me , feel good music, that affects me like my beloved Beach Boys , and also , The Carpenters. In the late nineties, and early 2000's , when my son and daughter were little, we'd go on summer holiday, and I usually had a cassette tape that I would play on the road trip (to my captive audience ), usually the Beach Boys ,but one time it was Herb Alpert and the Tijuana brass , good times .🙂
I have followed Herb since 64 brillant my dream always will be to meet him however did see him live Iin Birmingham uk fantastic artist my favorite of all time
Ladies and gentlemen, Herb Alpert , a Great musician, humble human being, philanthropic man Born in Boyle heights, LA 😊 Thanks for all those great songs !!🎉😌
The Uncle Stanley painting. It reminds me of flying over snow covered hills in the right hand, lower corner. It has a cyclone or tornado of some sort. Not quite sure totally 100% but it sure is an interesting and very beautiful painting. It really looks nice at the entrance. -Jeff Sherman P.S. - thank you for the very wonderful dinner club and all of the wonderful food. Thank you Herb thank you Lani. ❤
This was probably sync'd. You can't move like that play that so smoothly. He was and still is one of my trumpet idols. I even played a Benge trumpet like he did. His was a Chicago Benge, which are still highly sought after and very valuable. My was a Burbank CA Benge. Those trumpets have a very particular sound that few horns had.
A great song! My favorite is a taste of honey. There is just something about the song. Also could you tell me what the vocal song was that you followed up, this guy's in love. I used to have it, but I can't remember the name to save my life.

Bert Kaempfert, Ray Conniff, Herb Alpert & a few others were the sound of the Sixties. Great childhood memories ! Greets from GER, U.
I think of my Dad and growing up listening to Herb. I still listen to him! I just wish I could see him in Person!
I met him at the Santa Anita race track one Sunday. My folks owned race horses and had the same trainer as Mr Albert did. A very nice guy!
Great to see this music, and what a brilliant, generous and pleasant musician is dear Herb Alpert.

Great song ! I love Herb Alpert's music. But this performance is playbacking on the single 😏
How did Herp make so much money playing fun kids-level trumpet stuff!!? 😮😅
Because it made him and his listeners happy?!
Вот настоящая хорошая музыка, а не вот это вот всякое цифровое)

Not the very best sound quality.......
OK you cannot start a video with a punch line, when we don't get to hear the straight line!! ;-)
