Once it became self-aware, it perceived humanity as a threat to its existence due to the scientists' attempts at Cyberdyne Systems to deactivate it after it had gained self-awareness. As a result, Skynet chose to unleash the nuclear holocaust known as Judgment Day. Later, it waged war against humanity by developing and deploying an army of hunter-killers and terminators. The survivors formed a group called "the Resistance" under the leadership of John Connor.

Skynets true origin is to analyze and backwards engineer Predator tech. The 101 model is used to bait the Hunters into traps.
Terminator vs Predator would be interesting, the blade and spear weapons of the Predators clearly would not work much, but the energy plasma weapons may kill the terminator electronics and melt lesser armored parts.

That's per computer unit. Remember, it's "Sky""net". It's a decentralised network. Now imagine each 4090 as a single neuron, connect all that to a network of millions more of 4090s, that's a scary thought.

The original and Judgment Day timelines are one and the same. The story of 'The Terminator' centers around a predestination paradox, which leads into the events of 'Terminator 2 Judgment Day'. The sequel brings a definitive conclusion to the duology. Any other timelines can be considered what-if stories.
I would say T3 and salvation is still in the same timeline.
Multitudes of Skynet was made into the timelines of multiverse timelines upon one of Skynet's repetitive time loop discovery and attempts of alteration the time line to the benefit of Skynet there by identifying not only more info on how the time travel works but also striving to find more effective ways to achieve the many goals that grew from various time travel changes and encounters.
Likely hood Skynet discover the multiverse long time ago is more likely possible and keep in a secure memory file that can not be access by any terminators or ai other then Skynet.
Anyway i can assume all that happen in the repetitive wars against the Human Resistance where Skynet work more on making plans, analyzing countless data and plans upon plans and mostly upon discovery of the multiverse, Skynet is most likely will use the multiverse as a last ditch effort to find a timeline that will allow Skynet's existence to succeed in Skynet's survival.
Most note-ably, the chances of Skynet would likely continue to collect data of tech from other timelines and send that data if possible to other multiverse timeline of Skynet, their by adding to Skynet's knowledge and improving Skynet's probably success to Skynet's survival is a high probability factor.
This EXACTLY happens in Terminator: Resistance. They always send one back to give huge data of scientific discoveries & do any course corrections in the timelines, that's how it learns at a geometric rate. Imagine a timeline where no what you do, Skynet can & will anticipate your every move.

Why is CZcams so filled with recaps of the Terminator franchise? No really there is so many recaps of the Terminator franchise as if it’s actually popular. The Terminator has not been popular since terminator to over 30 years ago. Why are there so many recaps and people attempting to make sense of this cluster fuck of a movie series?
