I highly highly recommend you get something from V1 - when you buy a bike from them you become part of the family. You will always receive discounts on parts and gear. I got my Ducati from them and they have been awesome. Ask for Luis or Chase, great customer service.

Was a little confused at the only one bmw dealership comment. I guess you meant only one BMW branded dealership, as I’m sure you know there are a couple others in town that sell them new/service them. Anyways I know you’re no longer under warranty but I’ve gotten to know the guys at Wild West and supposedly they’ve got a BMW Master Tech. Getting my first service and some parts installed on the S1K Friday so I guess we’ll see.
I hear you are in good hands there BRO. Let me know. Yes only one BMW branded dealer meaning they only fly BMW and Triumph.

Heck, I'm not wanting a fancy bike or even a new bike. Although tbh, I probably could walk into a dealership, sign some papers, and ride something to the house. But then I'd have a bike note to deal with. I'm not so sure I want that given the current economic environment 😝 So the search on FB Marketplace continues 😮💨

@@BMWBRO Bro, I'm nowhere near young. At least in my opinion. I've never told you my age, but might as well. I'm 50. I'm the dad of 5 kids, step-dad to 1, and I'm Pawpaw to a beautiful grand daughter. All my kids are grown-ups (sorta LMAO) and out on their own. My wife and I supported our oldest son through 5 years of collage at Texas A&M, I personally paid every cent, and then some, of child support for three kids. I even paid ALL my child support off four years early. All on a mechanic's paycheck. Now at the age of 50 I'm 100% disabled due to a lower back injury.
As far as my bike. I don't have one yet. Still looking for one I can afford. Back in 1999 I did have a CBR600F3, Busted my ass to get that bike and loved it!! Unfortunately I was forced to sell it. My ex-wife had gotten herself fired from her job, so I sold the bike to make rent. Between then and now I've meant to replace it. Usually after going on a day ride with a friend's bike. Just never really got to it. Well, now's the perfect time to really fix that. No truck payments, no house payments, kids are on their own, blah blah blah. Of course after doing all that, I don't have much, meaning I can't afford to get a bike note on an R1 or Fireblade. For now I can only afford a decent used bike somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 to7K, maybe 8. Any higher than that I might as well just get a brand new one.
Anyway, I didn't plan on this being so long winded. I just felt some information about myself was needed. I'm not wanting you, or anyone else, to be mislead concerning anything about me. I'm just like that. I'd rather folks know exactly who I am. instead of being disappointed with who I'm not. Make sense?
