Story 2: I am so *livid* at OP. There's so much wrong with her post! She thinks gaming is the issue when the issue is that she cruelly disregards her friend's new interest and coping mechanism. If her friend was constantly going on about the game, I could get being annoyed. But she said that's not the case! He just wants to sometimes talk about something he likes, and since OP has no interest in it, she can't even be bothered to listen to him. Plus it really seems like she doesn't think friends can have different interests - news flash for her, *yes they can*. When my friends talk about something they enjoy that I'm not into, I still listen and engage with them! Because they like it! It doesn't sound like OP (and the fgroup) tried to find new activities that her friend could participate in, it sounds like she just wants him to be exactly the same as before the accident, regardless of the fact that he's *not* the same person anymore. That kind of accident often changes people, esp if the person was active before and can't be afterwards. Adding onto all of this is OP just being so judgmental of gaming in general. I'm a gamer, so I will admit I did take this more personally. But apparently the only valid interests in her mind are outdoorsy/physically active ones. I also cannot be that active due to chronic pain and disability issues. I love gaming, reading, movies, etc - the stories, the worlds, the characters are so much fun to experience! I don't get OP's sneering tone at all video games. And when she said she wants him to "do something with his life" instead of game, I saw red. Gamers do things with their lives! Being active is not a guarantee you'll actually go do something valuable with your time! I'm starting law school in September, but I guess this OP wouldn't count that as doing something with my life because I'll still be gaming to relax and have fun 🙄 Edit: also, I love BG3! If that is the game he's playing, honestly more shame on OP. There's so much going on in that game (and other fantasy games) that literally cannot happen in real life, so what's wrong with experiencing it in a game? But OP would probably think that magic and dragons are stupid and anyone who thinks fantasy is cool needs to stop immediately
It's a real shame the cast got jumbled around so much. I understand Hotch leaving because of the actor, but I loved what the character brought to the team.
Nothing against Jennifer Love Hewitt, but she was the only new cast member that didn't fit in. I loved her as The Ghost Whisperer and I believe I've seen all her movies, but she was the only one that lacked chemistry with the rest of the cast. Ironic how her former co-star on The Ghost Whisperer, Aisha Taylor fits in beautifully. 😊
