    Very nice to see a top level game analyzed by you, a go professional, enhanced by AI suggestions. I read Kato Masao's book Attack and Kill. Painful to see him lose a group at the end by mistake. A big thank you from the USA.

      I don't feel as much ashamed if I lose a big group in endgame after seeing that it can happen in pro games too

    Kato Masao was a real gentleman (I met him, he even commented a couple of my games). One of my favourite ever players! Thanks for this - and next time show one of his wins, eh? :))

    Games that last multiple days sounds like a good tradition. Will we/do we still have games like that in the age of AI? Being able to analyze the game with AI during the breaks feels like killing the spirit of the game.

    Thank you for making such a fun and knowledgeable review. If you have time in the future, I would like to see you review a game between these two players played on 1981-9- 9. I have been tried to make sense of this game but it's far too complicate for me. ( I'm about 1 digit kyu level)

      Yeonwoo as a couple of other professional or semi-professional Go/Baduk players are actually making a living on teaching which means they are dependent on students taking classes or get support regularly or just occasionally over the Patreon system, as a benefit you will also get relevant sgf-files. Actuallly Yeonwoo is mentioning Patreon in this video which she spent over 4 hours to prepare. I myself was unaware of this for quite some time but now I support contributors whose videos I study regularly, anything else would not be fair.

    Yo, your occasional "tak tak tak" could be translated as "like this like this like this" or as "that that that". Quite frankly, the meaning stays the same.

  • @darekk7459
    @darekk7459 Před 4 lety

    Funny that so famous best killer Kato didn't see so obvious life&death problem for his own group, maybe his killer instinct punished him more to pay attention to his opponent's weaknesses ;)
    And wasn't the Chikun's habit of talking during the game criticized? I read that Japanese ethics prohibits commenting during the game. And in fact it can be very distracting and unpleasant for an opponent, I'd piss off and tell an opponent to shut up.
