I think Drew Gooden is one of the few CZcamsrs whose video quality is actually extremely consistent. Like the worst videos he's made are still really good. It's a shame he doesn't think of his video quality as being consistent, I hope he knows that it really is!

"I don't think I'm that consistent in quality". I highly disagree. I am subscribed to many youtubers who I only watch around 50% of their content because of their inconsistency in quality. Drew is one youtuber I never miss an upload for. Every video feels well made, entertaining, well formatted, and feels like he's tried his best every time.

You have no idea how many times I've seen "I think I found the weirdest Christmas movie", that video always makes me laugh so much. Drew has that balance between sarcasm, appreciation for things that makes no sense and goofyness, that it is really unique and interesting. His delivery is also amazing!

I’m glad the Star Wars video is one of Drew’s favorites as of recently, because I loved the format of that video and it genuinely got me into a new series that I’ve been heavily enjoying
yeah, that video was the reason i watched andor and its now one of my favourite shows, and its also been added to my list of "perfect" media, alongside arcane, the magnus archives, spiderverse, community (except season 4), twisted by starkid... and a lot of other stuff.

weird compliment but: drew is one of the most reasonable youtubers i know? like he seems very normal and has such good opinions about the things he talks about. i totally agree with the "why do we have to constantly grow our audience" thing - it seems like a lot of creators just get caught up in trying to up their numbers, which usually leads to lower quality videos or things that feel rushed or unnatural for them. if you're able to consistently make a living from it, why can't that be enough? same with how he talks about being responsible with your time and putting in the effort even when you're not feeling creative. just all around drew seems to have formed a quite healthy view of life.
also!!! don't get a team though please! the fact that you do everything yourself makes it feel a lot more authentic, and although i dont particularly enjoy the "i ordered stupid things so you don't have to" that much, the best parts of those videos are kind of when you go through the weird, misleading and strange ads and your process of choosing what to buy.

drew is my comfort creator. his very specific brand of humour is so genuinely unique and i've never found another creator who is so unreasonably funny in such a weird way. i realized recently that i've been watching his stuff for 8 years and have never not watched his content. i just immediately was like 'this is the guy' and i have never wavered in loving all of his content. i have many creators i like who i go through phases with, but he is always consistently my favourite. his content brings me so much joy and i think he's an absolute gem on this platform
Honestly, even with 4 million subscribers, drew is so underrated. Everytime he uploads it makes my day srsly. I recently rewatched all his video's and they are all so funny and good 😅 even his sponserships i look forward to
Drew is such a talented comedian. His content has such a wide range (from serious media analysis to "I had a dumb idea, let's see what happens") and he knocks the whole spectrum out of the park. And he is the ONLY CZcamsr whose ad reads I will sit through, because somehow he always makes them mad entertaining.
I live for when Drew uploads! Sometimes on CZcams I'm hunting specific topics, subscribing to different channels still, but I pick and choose what topic's to watch from their homepage. With Drew half the time I don't even read the title when I see he's uploaded, because it doesn't matter. I know in only moments I'll be cackling for the whole video no matter what. Seriously his shit really makes my day and lightens me up.

Drew is usually look at as a funny guy who buys stupid products, but his videos about movie analysis are so fucking good and he puts so much work on them, you get to see that behind the funny jokes he's very smart and has a lot of ideas. The Star Wars video alone almost made me cry when he talked about why we create stuff, so yeah, love the dude. ❤

I honestly feel like every video Drew puts out is so wonderful. Even his "lower effort" stuff feels so fresh. I get excited every time he posts because I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'll enjoy this video just as much as his other ones. I think the fact that he only does one a month really adds to that-- it never truly feels like he's just throwing whatever at the wall just to have a piece of content. Whatever he does, it's always a bit unique in some way and it feels like real effort went into it. I'm glad he continues to stay true to what he really enjoys and that he lets himself have time off. my all time fav videos of drews is when he talks passionately about something, my fav video is the one lost. I had never seen it and after his video I started watching and became obsessed with it, then rewatched his video on it and felt so connected to what he was saying. i love drew
I've followed Drew for years and I've never missed an upload. I also constantly rewatch his videos. There's something about him that is so calming, even if he's ranting about something. I could watch him talk about paint drying and be entertained.

I remember Drew from Vine days, I think the first Vine of his I saw was the colonial drugs one. I was happy when I saw he'd moved over to CZcams when Vine went defunct. His sense of humor is so specific and I can rewatch his videos without getting bored. I even watch them sometimes to fall asleep bc it's comforting and I know it lol. The podcast he did with Jarvis Johnson where he discussed his health anxiety made me cry because I've dealt with health anxiety for nearly the past 10 years and it can be debilitating and embarrassing to talk about. I know this is all over the place but I appreciate Drew's humor and honesty and I hope he's made peace with the Moonpod.
the fact that Anthony is STILL taking money from BH after almost a decade of scandals is insane to me. They do more harm than good.
I honetly cant think of a single drew video that I didn't wholeheartedly enjoy. Like I have no interest in starwars, never have, but I watched his video on it start to finish, and really enjoyed it! I didn't need to understand the full context of it for it to still be a really enjoyable video to watch

I love the emphasis on Drew's own appreciation of his artistry as a writer and comedian, his confidence is really great to see. Because he is incredibly skilled as a writer! Really cool to get recognition for that.

29:12 is very relatable to ADHD lol. It's a lot harder for people with ADHD to initiate a task on something they don't enjoy or care for. Even if it's something they like, they still may avoid it for some reason. For people with ADHD, it tends to be easier if they break the task into smaller parts, creating a to-do list, start a timer, or working with someone to name some strategies.
I've been comforting watching Drew's videos alot. I love how passionate he gets in the star wars video and it's always fun seeing how he analyzes different media. I always appreciate getting to see his perspective on whatever he's talking about.
i found drew by the danny gonzalez pipe line and i loved another bad movie reviewer and as i went to watch some of his older videos he had promoted “road work ahead” stickers and i was like “wow this guy really loves that vine” and then it hit me that this was the same guy. it really validated me to know that i was on the right side of the internet full circle moment
