Great Reaction Video Folks , I am a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, My Dad fought in WWII & my Grandfather fought in WWI , I really didn't want to go BUT i wanted my Daughter & Future Grandkids to be able to live in the same America i grew up in & went & fought for Mom ,Apple pie & my Wife , But it funny when you get there & in your first firefight you find out your fighting for the Brother on your left , right & behind you & in the Military the only Color there is , is OD Green & We all bled the OD Green , Not White or Black or Red or Yellow BUT OD Green & We were truly Brothers , Thank you for your support of our Military & Veterans , War's change BUT the Heart of the Soldier hasn't since 1776 , Over 1 Million 600.000 Men & Women have fallen for Freedom & We owe our Fallen Hero's much more than we can pay back , A Disabled Marine Lt. once said , Support isn't about the War , ITS ABOUT THE WARRIOR , as in my War you can HATE the War , BUT don't hate the Warrior for fighting what he country sent him to do , Hand Salute from a Tired OLD Veteran God Bless you & the USA
Toby passed away from stomach cancer February 5. He was a true American hero. I heard him say he performed over 400 times over 10 years in 17 countries for our troops. His father served in Viet Nam and he loved and honored our military. He also had a hospital like St Jude in Oklahoma that he built and funded. He helped countless individuals that were going through hard times. A very kind and compassionate man. He will be forever missed and loved ❤
That feeling, saying your goodbyes and getting on a bus going to the plane, heading for a far off country not knowing if you are coming back is impossible to describe. I was an M1 Abrams Tanker in the Army and served in Operation Desert Storm. God Bless Toby, he sang his heart out paying tribute to all service members.
Did 2 tours in Afghanistan and 1 in Iraq. This song always hits home. Awesome reaction.

I am a disabled veteran who served 8 yrs. I come from a military family. Eight of my uncles served as well as my father, brother, myself and two oldest nepews. We did what needed to be done. We all lost brothers in different conflicts. When one falls we all hurt.
I met Toby twice, my good buddy from college got a really fluffy job at Ford when Toby was their brand spokesman. So he'd get us backstage passes and VIP seats. One year Miranda Lambert opened and I got a picture with her too. The next time Montgomery Gentry opened...which I never thought about until now that out of the 3 people on the main billing that night, Eddie Montgomery, Troy Gentry and Mr Keith, only 1 of them is still with us. Troy died in a helicopter crash a few years back. Crazy. They were a great group with tons of hits.
But during his concerts Toby always went out of his way to honor the vets. And he would always end the show with Courtesy of the Red White and Blue but before exiting the stage his last words were always "Never apologize for being patriotic. F 'em!" Always gave me the chills.
He will be missed.
This old vet is here and as always, I'm holding on to God. Salute to my brother and sister veterans. Now being a fourth generation vet that also had three older brothers who served. I had two that came back from Nam, now I never saluted them but remember watching them fall asleep on the couch or chair when I was young and watch the family wake them with the end of a broom handle because of how they would respond. Now I always was able to wake up easily, so my ex would just say my name a little distance from me because I would jump a little and it would scare her. I don't have those worries anymore. Love you guys and always enjoy your reactions.

Talking of a son saluting his father always flashes me back to the pallbearers carrying President Kennedy's coffin out of St Matthews Cathedral and down the cathedral steps. The day of the funeral was his son, John Jr's (commonly known as John-John), 3rd birthday, and it was heartbreaking to watch as the solemn, sweet little boy stepped forward and saluted the flag draping his father's casket. I'll be 71 this year and it's an image that still haunts me.

This song is so amazing.. RIP Toby...and I'm looking at that baby laying on you.. sleeping in peace,. I thank our military for that. My youngest son was 1 when 9/ll happened.. I was so scared for all my 5 children.. I was scared my older boys were going to be drafted.. it was such a scary time.. God Bless the USA..

Ill never forget what TK did for us, he could have truly been killed going to Iraq/Afghan so many times on his dime BUT he did it anyway. He also helped kids out so much with his OK Kidz Korral, just a heck of a guy all around and truly a last of the mohican type. GOD Bless TK and All.

It is not just an American soldier. From US to Cananda, UK, the ANZACs to the people who are our enemies. Russian, Japanese, German soldiers et al. Only vets know. Right or wrong. Union or Confederate. NATO or WARSAW pact etc. There should be respect that should be given to people willing to do what we all did no matter the side. Most people cannot fathom what we go through. What you are asking people to do for you on your behalf. As Sabaton said " There is no right or wrong, no rich or poor, No matter who they fought for. No good or bad. Just soldiers resting side by side. HAS MAN GONE INSANE?

I remember that phone call notifying me my Fighter Wing was being Deployed to Operation Desert Shield/Storm, my oldest was 2 years old 3 years later I was assigned to South Korea when my youngest was 7 Days old

I lied to you in my first message. I said i never saluted my dad, which I didn't when i was young but did when he died and received a military funeral ( a decorated WW2 wounded vet) with me and my two surviving brothers.
I wish they could get people to wear the beret correctly in these vids…. Great song though.

I love your reaction. But you keep saying old veterans. To me vets are vets old, new. They all deserve respect. And im not mad so don't take this the wrong way. I love my blood siblings. Do anything for them. But i have so many brothers and sisters dead and alive that are vets. Rip my brothers and sisters military families.
