WoW ruined my university entrance exam and first couple of years of university. My GPA tanked. I had a pretty insane character arc at the end, though. I somehow hit the absolute minimum GPA required for Ph.D., got accepted and finished it. But it was a hell of a ride.

@@Savixirl @cci9459 you gotta show some respect bro... I already watched the video with asmon and I'm here to watch Sav's reaction for the vibes. You content creators have been awesome during these rough times. Keep up the great content.
HOWEVER in the video when he mentions something they are repeating currently. 26:27 and 29:17 explains this cycle. Team is created, unrealistic deadline set, content is subpar, team is fired. A dev from the classic team had a interview where he stated they simply didn't have enough time and were cut before they could really start on what was promised which is why they underdelivered on the 4+ hours of cutscenes and the game had so many other issues. We as consumers have to take this video and start aiming higher than the overworked over stressed dev team. I truly do not believe they rushed it, they just didn't have the time nor worked under realistic conditions that entailed everything promised to us as consumers.
From our standpoint the dev team and those pulling their strings are synonymous so many players believe blizzard doesn't care which is in part true. But its those higher up that don't care. I've been playing "re-reforged" and Chronicles of the Second War customs and have had way more fun there than my 18 years on retail. The cutscenes are movie worthy and provide HOURS of entertainment just watching them on youtube. The campaigns take a long time to develop and release but the quality is better than what blizzard is producing. The fast expansion cycle and release of content will never be the better path. I don't mean to be negative, but pragmatic. You have made awesome content and are such a positive vibe and breath of fresh air but this video made it clear to me Blizzard is not on a better path. They just laid off a ton of people this year who I bet could have made a difference for the better.
