    Hey thanks again. I am new with a BOLT so although I kind of get what you are doing, I am not sure why you are doing it. Maybe if you think it is helpful for others too (please don't do it just for me) but maybe if you want to, maybe do another video explaining why you performed this test. I thought the BOLT was calibrated and would work right out of the box(?) correctly? Thanks again for taking the time to create your videos. Cheers!

      You are correct the bolt comes calibrated. The ramp test helps you verify that it is correct for all lenses. Each lens has a different depth of focus so by running the ramp test you can find the top and bottom limits of the depth of field. By knowing the limits you can miss the tabs on a tumbler with removable handles or engraved a dished out surface as examples. I hope this helps explain a little more.
