One of the funniest things that I found in our local shop here in Wales was in the 'American' section. Here Hershey bars have to be labeled 'chocolate flavour' as the ingredients don't qualify it as chocolate here!
very true !
Vomit flavour would be more appropriate as they both have the same chemical in them.
And those weird peanut butter cup things that they have in the American section of Morrisons. I tasted one of those and it was so sweet that I had horrible thing where you mouth fills with water and you sort of cringe. I'm having sugar flashbacks as I write.
Same here in Ireland.
The EU did not want UK or Irish chocolate to be called chocolate because both countries use some vegetable fat in it not derived from the cocoa bean. The UK and Ireland won the argument and it is accepted as chocolate.
10 things the UK does better than the USA. #1 Drive on the left, I tried driving on the left in the USA and the locals were freaking out for some reason. 😁
If you drive on the left in the USA 🤔you meet a lot of nice people like police fire department ambulance 🚑 and doctors 😂😂😂😂
US and mainland Europe have one thing in common
Driving on the right.
Hahaha

When me & my pal were in LA on the way to the 1986 football World Cup to watch Scotland we hired a motor to get about LA. The bloke typing in our details without looking up said, hey why do you English still drive on the left? Andy & I looked at each other with a wee bit of incredulity & said, who are you calling English pal? 🤪
Well now, my husband, who is an American but now lives permanently in the U.K. was applauding you for your stance on American politics 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Did he make sure to renounce citizenship before marriage
If not I do not envy your tax bill
This dude really needs to book a flight for a holiday hire a car for 2 weeks and drive around the further from London the better. We are a very small compact island here yet we have such a variety of landscapes and local differences it would be such a great journey for him.
And if he visits Milton Keynes he'll find out all about roundabouts. I like a good roundabout myself but MK is off its tits on them.
Not just roundabouts, its USA copied 4 Lane boulevard Roads and grid system makes the whole town non-human scaled. Your forced to drive everywhere as distances are too much bother.
The UK is islamic now
I'm from mk there's litrally a round about every like 10 yards lol he might have heart attack comming here 😂
I’m so glad I was born and raised in the UK 😂
You and me both 😂
Both times I visited America I was always feeling sick after eating the food, and had a constant headache. It’s only ever happened in the USA, not in any of the 20-30 other countries I’ve visited
I had that for the first week or so I was there, then somebody suggested it might be caused by the HFCS that was in almost all of their processed foods, so I stopped eating or drinking almost anything with HFCS in it, then I was fine for the rest of my time there.
If you go back again, I recommend trying to avoid it as much as possible. It makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable.
Thats because American food regulations are made to suit the Company NOT the safety of the public. Many Americans living abroad in Europe, say for six months or more, actually loose weight even though they are eating the same amount of food. Some American women living abroad say their periods have changed and if they go back to the USA for any length of time they change back. You have to remember, America b/shits its public and allows Big Business to rule over everything-thats why so much of their "food" is banned in Europe.
How wealthy are you?? Lucky you!
@@vickywitton1008 because I started travelling in my late teens and I’m over 60 now
What is HFCS ?
I agree with your political rant. I feel disenfranchised with neither political party representing ordinary voters. I am British and just turned 60 and have never felt so frustrated with our so called democratic system. Its all money controlled.
There's plenty of parties to choose from.
@@Robert-cu9bm true, but only 1 of 2 will get in. There may as well only be 2 in England.
Roundabouts are awesome! They keep the traffic moving just great! I’m uk born and bred and I’m really grateful to live here in the glorious north of England. Not everything is ok, our political system is a shambles for instance, but I wouldn’t live anywhere else
Had my first encounter with a 'magic roundabout' - a roundabout of smaller roundabouts - that was freaky, but I think there are only a handful of them
Glorious north England is an oxymoron
It's far better up north, friendly people with great countryside.
@@helenr4300 They look crazy! I have only tackled doubles up to now.
I think Steve was right though, the roundabout in the video was not one from the UK. The exits are on the wrong side of the road. They are great unless you need to join when the main route of travel is on your right lol
That is not a UK roundabout, you are correct.
It could be in Europe

i live in the UK and our NHS is the one thing im proud of. it is under a lot of strain right now but it is there for everyone and free at the point of delivery.... a lot of people say free but obviously someone has to pay for it. I am thankful for it. i have to say tho a little boy who lives in my town had cancer and he had to go to US for treatment. it cost half a million pounds but that little boy is alive now because that doctor treated him so for that, and our health service couldnt offer him that treatment. he gets to be a normal little boy and he is now cancer free
I have a percentage of my wages deducted every pay check...NI payment is no different to paying an Insurance premium eack week/month that would result in a better service...No point having an NHS if you cant even ring an ambulance right now.. A soldier would arrive instead. NHS is being slowly privatized by the current tory leadership and now we all seeing the results...Just like how Thatcher destroyed industry. NHS is crumpling.
Always appreciate your polite and respectful insight Steve. As a Brit, it’s always interesting to see someone else’s perspective on our country, and in so doing we get to learn a lot more about your culture over in the U.S.

That wasn't a ramble, it was a rant and I'm here for it!! 🤣🤣
It was great wasn't it
Exactly what I was going to comment, that ramble needs an upgrade to rant.

Canada is really smart; we share Britain's Royal Family and their visits to Canada do wonders for tourism. Forget Disney World, come to Canada and see real royals during the height of our tourist season. Talk about inexpensive contrasted with either Britain or the good old USA. Then again Canada was mainly founded by the Scottish. Brilliant in engineering and in so many other ways.
I visited my friend in Canada in 2014. It was the most beautiful place I have ever been to, it was simply stunning and everyone I met was just so friendly. I really loved it there!
Fuckin love Canada
I think one of the biggest differences between UK and US is the better work / home balance and payed holidays from work.
I think the most important thing we do better in the Uk is our health service .I will accept that the US probably has nicer hospitals ,more private rooms etc but you have to pay for them .My husband is currently in hospital after a stroke ,he is getting all kinds of specialist care and we won't have to pay a single penny for it .I am beyond grateful atm that we have the good fortune to live in a country that has a free at the point of use health service .
Exactly and it’s still an additional option to get private health care in the uk best of both worlds really
In the uk you do pay for healthcare, they take it out of our wages every single month, it is called national health insurance.
@@alexandriasmith8986 Yes but the system is always there at the point of need, so it's a much better system. The NHS is probably the one thing that unites all UK citizens more than anything else, and whever visitors question or criticise it, they learn very quickly how proud we are of it. Of course it's not perfect, but it's the best system that you could want
It's not free we pay for it ever month out our pay!...
It's free in the sense u dont need to worry if u have a accident and have no money what they take out a month in it wage is not noticed so it's a great systems best in the world enough said
That's definitely not a UK roundabout. The traffic approaches from the wrong direction and most UK roundabouts wouldn't be just grassed over, they are generally landscaped with flower beds. which would be sponsored by a local firm.
Definitely true
Or decorated with rubbish.
I saw a NZ doctor talking about diet . He said , basically if the food would go off left outside the fridge in a couple of days and your granny would recognise what's in it , you can eat it .
This is true!
Understand your rant - we all need to do that occasionally - it helps! Another fact about the cost of the Monarchy that the video didn't mention, is that it is further offset by the approx £1.7 billion income that is generated by having them. Everyone saw the crowds at the Jubilee (for example), many had travelled ffrom overseas just for this specific event, they stayed in hotels/ate at restuarants - that's without the monarchy related souvenirs, other visited attractions etc etc.
Yes but the income generated only influences London and is spent in London, The rest of the Country doesn't see a penny of this profit.
@@mosthaunted2 That's incorrect. Revenue makes £150m contribution to trade & £550m to Tourism in the UK in general; & if you want to get specific Windsor generates income from the monarchy which is in Berkshire, Edinburgh has a the castle & jewels that draw tourists, - Scotland. Balmoral, Scotland generates revenue etc etc. If you notice I used the Jubilee as an example- it's right there (in brackets)...
@@cazzyuk8939 Sorry I don't agree, what does the North of England get with this money? This is why the North/South divide exists, It's not a made up divide.
@@mosthaunted2 Yes they do. The contriubutions, eg the one to Trade benefits the UK economy. Towns/cities of the UK don't all have individual economies. Even where a hotel in London, for example a Marriott is at capacity due to a Royal event; the yearly accounts include all hotels in the chain, not each hotel. Any profit made is a benefit to the Company as a whole & may even be keeping a less profitable hotel in the North open. It's basic economics.
Plus the brf pay taxes on royal estates which generates income.
The thing people don’t always remember is lots of these are true because we’re OLDER than America.

If you want to compare UK vs US fast food, Food Wars on CZcams do this really well. They compare ingredients, quantity and other differences between them. Its quite interesting.

Every ingredient in British foods is required to have an 'E'number label on the ingredient panel. This can be linked to a database which lists exactly what the producer is using in their product.
And no one reads the packet anyway.
Speak for yourself
@@Robert-cu9bm That's probably true, but it's good to have the requirement for labelling in the first place - whether or not we take notice of it is up to us
I love how honest you are about sharing your opinions, huge respect man
Unfortunately, at the end of the day, I believe all the problems the USA has comes down to the Corporations and the love of the almighty Dollar. The fanatical belief in the Capitalist system has led to big corporations virtually running the Government for their own benefit and to hell with the common person. If they eased the reigns a bit and removed the ability of companies etc to lobby the Government the country could start improving the lot of the Citizens, and ultimately the country as a whole
(Obviously, this is just my opinion as an outsider formed by what I observe from a distance.)
Look no further than McDonalds Fries. In the UK, the ingredients are potatoes and cooking oil. In the US: Potatoes, Vegetable Oil (Canola Oil, Soybean Oil, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Natural Beef Flavor [Wheat and Milk Derivatives]*, Citric Acid [Preservative], Dextrose, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate (Maintain Color), Salt. Prepared in Vegetable Oil: Canola Oil, Corn Oil, Soybean Oil, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil with TBHQ and Citric Acid added to preserve freshness. Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent. Contains: Wheat and Milk. *Natural beef flavor contains hydrolyzed wheat and hydrolyzed milk as starting ingredients.
Hi Steve. Thank you for your reaction to this and I would like to say wholeheartedly you seem to be more British than some of our own people. If you ever came to live over I would be one of the first people to meet and greet you. Thanks for a great channel.
I'm from the UK, but I feel everything you said at the end there. I see so much debate and infighting in so many places around the world. It distracts us from the real issues. People being constantly concerned about a person's label rather than their perspective or opinion. If the world could find a moment to stop reactively regurgitating programmed responses based on the label(s) we're told we belong to, and instead just listen, perhaps things would be a little better; a little less chaotic, and a little more truly equal. Freedom of speech means nothing if there's no one to listen.
Keep spreading some love, laughter, and logic. I think that might be the only way.
Beautifully said Aaron. I appreciate your comment.
Yeh you are so right, unfortunately it might take a while, get the average iq up a little, got people arguing over pronoun’s while other’s live in poverty just trying to get by, people who shouting certain lives matter while forgetting modern slavery and human trafficking exists, time will tell if things will get better, hopefully it will but I’m not holding my breath
@@holyjebus those things exist because clearly some lives don't matter. I guess from our British perspective we see the class dynamic as the ultimate dynamic, but in the US, that is often a dynamic that overlaps with race and identity all that much more.

Yeah, wind power is OK in the UK, but Scotland in particular dominates renewable energy generation. Many days, 100% of Scottish energy is renewable. And that's after we send a lot of it to the rest of the UK.
Is that when sturgeon is talking.
In the UK the food companies have to prove the ingredients are safe in the US it seems it you have to be able to prove that what the food companies are using is unsafe.

according to google theres around 14000 roundabouts in the UK and around 8000 in th US.
considering the difference in size of the countries we have a HUGE number of them and that makes me happy. they are far superior to regular junctions with lights when it comes to traffic flow. (we also have regular junctions , a roundabout is just a better design)
there are over 60 roundabouts in my hometown alone and it only has a population of 50k
Haha, are you in Basingstoke by any chance? I have never seen so many in one place! 😄 I don't mind them but they can be a bit of a pain when you are trying to join one where the main traffic flow is to your right. @@miff227 yes it’s weird but the US is a huge country with many specialised hospitals, And cost a huge price probably, if only our country had the space to build more specialised hospitals.
Fun Fact, the UK spends more money on the NHS than the US on their military and the NHS is struggling with their budget. I have hear Americans say the UK can't afford a big military, it's quite the opposite, we don't have the number of people to staff the size of military we could afford if we went the way of the US and privatised the NHS. Yeah technically Britain is still more powerful than the US but we just know how to balance what we are spending money on in peace time and war time, I am pretty sure the UK can triple the size of it navy in a week, because we maybe not have alot of commissioned ships, but we have alot of decommissioned ship around the country still getting maintained.

It's true what you say about the bases. I go to an airshow at RAF Fairford every summer. It in Gloucestershire UK but it's a USAF base - you can even see the baseball diamond on google maps. USA have been renting if from the British for over 60 years.
Very true, I used to go to Upper Heyford (Oxford way) and Greenham Common (Newbury - through the protesters) back in the day. My dad was in the USAF so I could go into the buildings until I reached 21.
Thank you I'm fed up of seeing comments on here from Americans. Saying British food is bland and we live off beans. When it couldn't be further from the truth. I'm always shocked when I see American cooking videos at the amount of salt put in. As well as the right to bare arms amendment. I have never had to worry when my children were in school. We aren't patriotic either, we don't preach saying our country is the greatest. Some homes have solar panels fitted on they're home usually the roof. So they get free energy but it's often more than they need. So the energy companies pay them for that excess energy and it's more environmentally friendly. They are expensive to have installed. But worth having in the longrun.
Also, regarding education in the US, you should see 'HUMILIATING: Gen-Z Can't Answer the Most Basic Questions' - it's scary
Not only generation z it goes way back. Plenty of generations have a poor understanding of geography or history or politics beyond the US borders. Partly by the education system, and partly the media and politics, keeping them blinkered.
Simple answer Steve is, yes, roundabouts are everywhere in the UK., Big Ones, Medium Ones, Mini Ones and even Ones Within Ones (eg - the famous nicknamed Magic Roundabout at Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire). The good thing about them is they often keep traffic moving that would otherwise be halted by stop-lights. Also, if you miss your exit, no problem .. you just go round again! Love your polite manner Steve.
Another thing: Having VAT included in the price of something. When you buy something in the UK, you don't have to work out the tax, you just pay what's on the label.
This YT vid is good too - 'Foods That Are Banned in Europe But Not the US''

For wind energy, it's important to spread the different types of power to spread our risk. If too much power was wind, we'd be in trouble if the weather was calm
Yes. This winter is apparently going to be less windy just when we need it the most. Let’s hope the forecast is wrong 🤣
I am guessing the reason the UK can export electricity is that it is generated 24 hours a day and sometimes supply exceeds demand. So it is worthwhile selling what cannot be immediately used rather than stopping the turbines,
They have a place to store energy for calm days. Did a whole thing n these in school.
At one point in history it was said "the sun never sets on the British Empire" which basically meant the empire was so vast that some part of it was always in daylight.
Hi Steve, do you grow any of your own foods, potatoes, carrots, cabbage etc? This way you know what's in the ground and no pesticides.
I would definitely say it helps having many more years of history and generational knowledge being passed through from our ancestors.. this has created a much more dynamic and varied society to form through the ages which has been able to learn and grow....
Fabulous to see you learning about life on this side of the pond. Many of your compatriots are also getting angry, but they are focusing on the wrong thing - on things they are being directed to by some very nefarious sources ! Unfortunately the relationship between your political system, Big Food and Big Pharma is in danger of pushing your country into a dangerous place. Stay curious and stay safe 😘
You missed out the military.
This is what happens when you let the corporations control the government :(
It happens here too of course, but to a much lesser extent
Love that in the Roundabout section, they showed a photo of a non-UK one (road markings were the real giveaway) and then an illustration of perhaps the most infamous one in the whole country (multiple small ones flowing clockwise, around a central one flowing counter clockwise).
Not the cars driving the wrong way?... Just the markings.
The Magic Roundabout in Swindon! That thing is scary because the locals derive through it in a completely different way from occasional visitors like me.
I really enjoyed this. I think it's always illuminating hearing someone from another country speaking about one's own. It makes one think about all sorts of things one normally takes for granted. Having watched this, my opinion is confirmed, that on balance, I am glad I live in the UK.

It merely means that we can make our country better for our citizens and I have an opinion on where/what/how.
Thank you AM. I absolutely agree. It's not bashing your country to be disappointed in the direction it's going and acknowledging reality. We have to be honest with ourselves if anything is to change. I appreciate your comment.
Great video, interesting facts . Our UK food is much less processed I think mostly. But your fresh food prices are crazy high in that other video you did. Really shocking. Maybe us Brits should stop moaning about our food cost increases. Keep up the good work and your effort is appreciated. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
I don't think it is, Brits aren't healthy.
In regards to roundabouts, I have to drive through around 7 of them each way on my way to and from work every day lol they are literally everywhere ahahaha
Thanks , Steve, for your channel. I really appreciate your respectful, well reasoned and balanced comments. ☺️
Love your passion on this one, keep up the good work!
The problem with energy generation is that it's difficult to store, which means any that isn't stored or consumed is lost.
Well Steve you certainly got on your soapbox with this video , well done mate . Nothing wrong with voicing your opinions forcefully. 🇬🇧
Roundabouts keep the traffic moving and there no need for traffic lights , in the uk all you have to do is give way to traffic from the right
The UK town, Milton Keynes has 300 traffic roundabouts, many of them have names. If you include the mini roundabouts that are a white painted circular hump in the road at traffic junctions, it takes Milton Keynes total to around 1000 roundabouts. Many of the larger traffic roundabouts in the UK are traffic light controlled, no the traffic do have to stop when using them.
Have you thought of maybe moving to England for a few years? See how you like it?
I really feel for you. I've never seen a reaction video where an American is so despondent and despairing about their own country.
Another class report Steve, keep them coming.
I've only just found your channel & absolutely love it! I like loads about America & watch a lot of videos about it so when I stumbled across you I was made up! You do make me laugh when you get caught up in an opinion 😀
Huge thumbs up, you're great! x
Thanks so much Bex. I really appreciate that. :)
Regarding Wind Farms and exporting the Energy. The problem is, you can;t store Electricity, (apart from Batteries). Therefore it's easier to export the power from source.
I store the energy generated by my solar panels and turbines as heat, no need to export
@@georgebarnes8163 At grid power station levels it is easier to balance loads by import/export. Although some storage is done. By pumping water into reservoirs when demand is low. To run Hydrogenation when demand is high. We have interconnection cables with Ireland, Belgium, France, Netherlands and Norway.
@@grahamsmith9541 The UK has practically no Hydro generation
@@georgebarnes8163 As at 16:05 today 6.1% of the UKs electricity need was being supplied by hydro generation. 3.4% of that from the pumped water storage system. Hardly insignificant. More than wind at 3.2%, Solar at 0% ,Coal at 2.6% and Biomass at 5.2%.
In 2021 5.6 terawatt hours of electricity was generated by hydropower.
McDonald's fries in the UK have 3 ingredients potatoes, vegetable oil and salt, in America they have about 15.
I was thinking about that too as it's an excellent example of the differences between food in the USA and the UK.
@@rachealbrown2166 there's actually a channel where they've compared the American fast food with the British ones (KFC McDonald's etc) I forgot what the channel is called but they compare the portion size, and ingredients, it's a real eye opener for Americans that have seen it.
@@rachealbrown2166 they also put loads of chemical stuff in their bread so it'll have a longer shelf life, and they go and ban some British foods like black pudding, steak and kidney pies/puddings and Haggis because of what's in them, I'd sooner have Haggis than a slice of American bread 😆
@@davebirch1976 Haggis is the one thing you wrote in your comments that is banned in the US, you can buy canned haggis without the lungs in the US, all animal lungs are banned in the US , As they contain bodily fluids and if not cleaned right, it can kill you.
We do love our roundabouts, they are everywhere. I used to drive an hour to my old job and in that time I'd drive through 16 roundabouts
UK gets between 20 and 25% of its power from wind, it sells it because is can't be easily stored so in strong wind it is sold to Europe at a very low cost
There was a weirdly entertaining article in the Washington Post today titled: 'Roundabouts are (slowly!) eating the suburbs'
Much more common now than they used to be!
Love your videos. I’m from the uk and it’s great to see your reaction to our culture 😂
The UK trades electricity back and forth with France (and thus the EU), Technically UK is a Net Exporter meaning the UK exports more power than it imports but wind power varies. In this case every megawatt produced in wind farms is a megawatt that wasn't produced via some other means, most likely natural gas (which is a big issue at the moment for obvious reasons). However during low/no winds, it is a big issue, not just for the UK but for the EU too.
Approx 40% of our energy comes from renewables but most of the offshore wind is owned by foreign, mainly Scandinavian countries; a point of contention here. Thanks for uploading. 🇺🇸🇬🇧👍
The Royal Family bring a massive amount of revenue into the country as well
That is not a UK roundabout. A lot of our bigger roundabouts are controlled by traffic lights
A lot of people here have "allotments". A plot of land where they can grow their own fruit and veg. They are very popular, usually a queue to get one, and a good social place to make friends
Our Internet speeds have really improved over the last few years
Wrong! It’s not the royal family that brings in the revenue, it’s the historic royal buildings palaces etc. Nobody comes to the UK expecting to see members of the royal family. People like to visit Hampton court but aren’t expecting to see Henry VIII
@@cityzens634 those royal palaces belong to the crown and some tourists are even motivated by the fact that a real royal family leaves in them they are not hallow like in France
@@malopephasha5341 Palace of Versailles gets 15 million visitors. UK palaces get a small fraction of that number. Try again.
You can’t store electricity long term. So, we sell to Europe when they need electricity through cables under the sea. In return, Europe sells us electricity - and gas and oil - when we need fuel. Like, half time in world cup matches. Then everyone rushes out to make tea (and coffee)! Seriously, Europe buys from us at their peak times - getting up, coming home, etc. Sometimes our weather is milder than that in Central Europe, creating European demand.
As for USA IQ, I have seen too many videos showing the lack of globes in schools, with questions such as "Where in the USA is Australia?" Here in the UK our primary shools have jigsaw puzzles covering "where in the world" !
Hi Steve, the Queens (or Kings) estates pay far more than 35.7m into the treasury every year and are then given a living allowance. If you take into account the tourist income she/he generates, they don't cost us anything!
The greatest value of british royal family is giving us ahead of state with intimate knowledge of our country's history . No political bias & no financial motivation . Hence HMS Queen Elizabeth motto "Semper Edem " meaning always the same (stability) whatever government is in power .
Just ask Harry & Megan !
With regards to internet speed, you got to remember this was 2015. I know it was only 7 years ago, but a lot of rural areas couldn't connect via fibre broadband. We have Scotland which is nearly as large as England but but has 10 times less population as majority is rural area, still some places do not have access to fibre broadband. Internet speeds have massively been improved in just 7 years.
In the UK, food manufacturers have to prove that their foods don’t do any harm. In the USA, the companies firms have lower standards. USA bread has much more sugar in it, even if you take the larger UK loaf sue into account. USA heavy cream has 17% less cream fat in it than the UK double cream.
Fun fact. It’s only called the union jack when it’s on a boat/yacht/ship. When it’s on land it’s called the union flag.
At 11:59 on the map I live on that little island bottom left (Isle of Sheppey) and just on this island we have over 20 roundabouts, they are not all huge as there are a lot of mini roundabouts at junctions where there are only 3 exits
Check out CZcams channel, Food Wars, and their video titled,
U.K. v’s USA McDonalds
U.K. v’s USA Subway
U.K. v’s USA KFC, and many more U.K. v's USA Foods videos.
Hi, I discovered your channel a few days ago and I'm slowly playing catch up on your videos. I've just watched you react to what the Queen's Guard do but it made more sense to comment on your latest to tell you I'm loving the content you put out and hope you continue for a long time.
Oh and I've seen you be sorry for pausing to "ramble." Don't be sorry, I love hearing your insights into what you're learning about our way of life.
I absolutely totally LOVE you!!!! You voice you HONEST, HEART FELT opinions unapologetically. Please never ever change.
Thanks so much Mark. I really appreciate that.
I watched a video lately about the differences between UK and USA McDonald's in UK fries they just use potato's oil to cook the fries in and salt in America there was a long list of things that American McDonald's use to make your fries Potatoes Vegetable oil Canola oil Corn oil Soybean oil Hydrogenated soybean oil Natural beef flavor (which contains wheat and milk derivatives) Dextrose Sodium acid pyrophosphate Salt. It puzzles me why all that is used when in England we just use potatos oil and salt to taste.
All the oils you listed are in all cooking oils and they all have to be listed on US food labels and Dextrose Sodium acid and Pyrohoshate salt are ingredients in Table salt.
