From his days of the grand shows in Waikiki to his retirement days uncle benny is the consumate showman. Uncle Benny is constantly pushing the limits of ukulele to places even his students have yet to dream about.
wow... outstanding!! this artist is able to render the scaling and riffs in a short and small ukelele just like as if doing it in a full compliment guitar... bravo to both performers
Always loved Benny Chong his guitar playing days with the group called the Aliis who backed up Don Ho. The rest of the group were also great jazz musicians.
Benny & Byron - two peas in a pod - nice work Gents! Big stretches on the uke bro Benny. Esp like the harmonics on the stick Byron! Respect, pierre0 xx
We just had Benny and Doc Yasui play two back to back concerts at Island Bazaar. 24 hours sold out! They were phenominal. Incredible jazz, but with a style that any listener can appreciate! Virtuosi, to be sure. Love you guys, and see you next year. Shirley O.
Bennie is the "Joe Pass" of the ukulele world. My favorite!
Benny never ceases to amaze me. An absolute master of jazz ukulele.
Beautiful. Ukulele won't be too predictable
Benny's style is surprising. Great performer.
Extraordinario y cuanto más lo escucho más me gusta.
I love this tune. I play it on guitar rather well. I love his improv on the tune.
