Three things:1. Jordan Crawford is not worried about anyone but him getting his and he is aggressive. Not being passive and just looking for Kobe...and Kobe looks more than fine with that. 2. DeAngelo isn't on the floor or he just wasn't running point...hard to tell if that was him in the backcourt with Crawford, but I expected him to have the ball a lot more...early...he has some great looks in preseason so far...you can see he has great vision. 3. Kobe didn't look slow or like he lacked athleticism to get off...just miles/minutes and his shooting percentages will tell the tale. I lied...one more thing...In a scrimmage it never features Bigs too much, but none of them stand out at any time...that will be a huge issue as they are looking like a team that will depend on jumpshots, but aren't loaded with sharp shooters.
They better focus on Clarkson. Dude can ball. Crazy upswing

Scrimmage, but a lot of fast break error. Not passing the ball to Kobe for an open lay up, horrible alley oop pass, forcing the issue when it is 3 on 1.
I hope Kobe can get his 3 ball back. We need him to make his 3s at a high clip.
I think they don't pass it Kobe that much, so they won't risk him getting injured. I'm sure when the season starts he will touch the ball more

I am not concerned about it since it is scrimmage, but just don't want the youngsters to be "I want to show what I got" mode all the time. Because then the team chemistry is gonna suck.

I want to see d'angelo be the floor general with his length and basketball instincts. Kobe will always get his post fadeaway because of his iq of getting position on the floor. clarkson, as I've said since he broke out, can be the next Dwyane wade. I can see Randle as the next zach randolph. combine this with a solid defensive anchor in hibbert...this lineup has the tools to be great offensively and defensively. our bench is the part I'm most worried about, since we have unproven talent on the bench combined with players who love to shoot the ball. Marcel seems like he is too focused on passing, which can be a flaw especially with his awkward jumpshot and floaters that NBA defenses will adapt quickly too. LouWill and swaggy are great scorers, but their shooting streaks and defensive consistency are questionable factors. Brandon Bass is a jumpshooter with limited post moves, a bad combination next to lou and nick crowding up the mid key. upshaw is unproven, and sacre/kelly sucks.

I thought our bench is deep with the 6th man and 7th man. They can learn how to play together, it's a process. They both are great shooters. We got Metta as a backup sf and bass is a very good jump shooter with good defence. We always have black as a center. And Jabari who is decent can play too.

Brown is missing more than others at this point though. Maybe it isn't that he cant shoot, but that he isn't in shape, so he fatigues fast. We all know that when you get tired, your jumpshot gets shaky.
