Like old time radio from the 40's. Once I started listening 9 months ago, you became a night time staple. I'm not sure how you make this work, but you cure insomnia by telling these scary and thrilling stories with the consummate voice. How cool..... Thank You, Being Scared. Mr. Ken
I've always believed that I would've loved those old radio shows. I've pretty much always just listened to television which everyone else thought was weird. These videos with no video are perfect for me. His voice is so calming too so I sleep well and if I do wake up I just listen for awhile and go right back to sleep instead of awake or getting up like I used to.
@@michelewalburn4376 You can still hear alot of those old 40's programs via youtube. Y'know..... Invaders from Mars, etc. That's good stuff. Being Scared has revitalized that. And I agree with you on the dark screen. Thank You for commenting and the positive. It comes back to you!👍
I really enjoy listening to those radio shows too. I discovered a stream dedicated to the genre about 5 years ago and have been hooked ever since.
My favorite programs are Sleep No More, Nightfall, and Quiet Please.

Has he been posting vids almost 7 years? I've been listening to True Scary Stories on CZcams for more than 7 years. The channels I first came across were Mr. Nightmare, Be.Busta, Lazy Masquerade, Corpse Husband, UrMaker and Doctor Horror. Also Killer Orange Cat. Although I didn't notice his uploads until a year... year and a half after finding the others. Either way this channel is great. Same with Let's Read. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into these uploads. You always help me to fall asleep or just entertain me whilst doing random work around the house. Much love and respect.

I remember as a Child listening to the radio on a Sunday morning at 6am to the fabulous Stories from the likes of Spike Milligan and other wonderful books that were read to me and a Person in the comments reminded me of a wonderful world that was opened to me as a Child and that was Books. But now that my mind is not in able to pick up a book due to PTSD, I am blessed with this wonderful gift from this Channel to help this stressed out human being with something that is dear to me and that is the gift of Storytelling. @Zou bisou bisou I am noticing that fact, he knows why a lot of us are here, I have narcolepsy which also means I can not go to sleep when I would like to and of course sleep when I don't. One of these days I'll understand why this method works for people like us but for now, I am just thankful.

Be Busta is ok but he does too many teenaged 'lets not meet' stories. I can't stand those.
@@harleycarroll19 I have to agree the let's not meet stuff can and will get old fast but even that does not bother me too much because often my 14-year-old will listen as well and I don't want anything to mess up.
I am a native Bengali speaker. I have been learning English so i struggle getting native english speakers when they speak fast(maybe its not that fast according to you). I love horror stories. That's why i listen to english horror stories but most of them speak a little fast for me. But then i found you who is soothing, clear and splendid story teller at the same time. Thanks
