  • WATCH this VLOG series as we head on out to the southern ocean to fish for Southern Rock Lobster here in Tasmania.
    Onboard the commercial fishing vessel Chieftain a 17.5m/57ft steel Tasmanian built vessel now 23 years old run by a Cummins NT855
    Thank you everyone for liking and subscribing. We are new to this CZcams video stuff so its very rough, as you can expect things will get a lot smoother as this series progresses and into the future.

    I had a 3kg bull jockey come up ,i grabbed him and he locked on me around my chest with his claws in my back . they certainly hurt wwhen they want too..

    like those little pots you use , much easier than the 4 footers we used. keep your leggings tight around your boots as it not fun when you get a 2 kilo cray up inside your leggings .

    Do they stay alive that long do you feed them you would have to I would think what do you feed them

    How long do you stay out at sea ?

      We stay out for upto 25-30 days depending. Often trips are only a week or 2. But on occasion back to back trips.
