I learned a ton. Thank you.
Thanks for watching
I am moving to Battle Ground Washington from California to a 5-acre property with a 30-35 ft, 2ft deep, creek fed pond that the owner and now me want to deepen. The shallow pond allows for area great blue herons and raccoons to eat all the fish. I am a retired veterinarian so want to learn more about fish and maybe even fish medicine as part of my retirement. This channel is the BEST! Please post as much as you can. Thank You.
Thanks. Congrats on the new property. That sounds like a really interesting project. The Herron’s pick off fish from my big pond but I haven’t seen them at the koi pond.
They make a motion sensor that sprays water to chase them off but your area is probably too big for that. Some people get animal statues to serve as a scarecrow.
@@uncommonaquatics Thanks Brock the animal statues are now on my list...
Heck yea. Love the new channel .!!! ❤️🔥🧬⚡️🔱
Thanks
Great video thank you I had to subscribe 😀
Thanks
Cool video. I’ve had many different tanks and a Koi pond till the neighborhood kids poked a hole in it.
Bummer
Is 150 gallons ok for 2 koi
It is for a period of time but not for life.
If that is a small outdoor pond. I would get shubunkin goldfish, which look like Koi but don’t get as big.
