Hello Friends!
I'm so excited to share this huge canvas with you guys! I did this piece shortly after my 'Open Cup Experiments', and I LOVE how it came out! My friend The Wind was helping me a lot on this one! 🌬
My Colors are:
Golden's Payne's Gray
Windsor & Newton Windsor Blue
Windsor & Newton Violet
Windsor & Newton Turquoise
DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics in 24K Gold
Artists Loft Flow Acrylic White mixed with DecoArt Americana Decor Satin Enamels in Pure White
My pouring medium is Liquitex Gloss Medium & Varnish, a bit of Water and Floetrol.
I was operating under the principle that I had used too much paint and too many layers in my Experiment video, so for this piece I only did one layer of each color in the three open cups I did. Sometimes less is more! It gave everything room to stretch and spread out, I love it!
I'm very happy with how this came out!

MINA!!! This is gorgeous! Take a really good look at the canvas right at 12:09, before you begin tilting, there is something warm, fuzzy and magical happening right in the middle of the canvas! It sparkles and twinkles with a mist as it floats and dances softly on the canvas! I don't think Ive ever seen anything quite so extraordinary as that! You have created something very special here, very, very special!! Love and hugs!😘
PS Your laugh is contagious! Oh, and you cat is so cute! Why can't she have just one lizard? It's just a tasty little morsel for her!

I try to shoot in the morning before the sun hits my table, that sparkle you see is the sun just starting to peek thru the trees above.. thank you for pointing that part out to me, I do love that too! Ps.. Ming Ming is a world class assassin lol on Mother's Day she caught a huge lizard and very kindly deposited it in my dresser drawer (unbeknownst to me).. I pulled out a shirt and shook it out and the giant lizard was sitting on my chest all of a sudden, on a place no lizard should be lol I can laugh about it now but at the time not so much! Thank you Ming Ming for the Mother's Day gift! 🤦♀️🎁💝

I love these colors! There’s a beautiful greenish turquoise in the center that catches my eye when it’s tilted a certain way. I also have to admit I was distracted from the dried painting by your beautiful yard and Ming Ming ☺️

That's funny cause I'm just the opposite. I will often skip to the end to see if the end result and then back to the beginning to watch the whole thing. Lol. I hate surprises.
