Incredible work ethics
For the foam guides, I use 6mm craft foam with double-stick tape. One side of the tape is permanent, the other side is temporary. It's a perfect stitch guide and much better than the magnetic guides that are large and bulky. In the US, I use 12" x 9" (30cm x 22xm) sheets of craft foam and cut it down with a rotary cutter to a useful size. I haven't been able to locate the tape used by Atelier Saison but have come up with an alternative that works very well. The 6mm craft foam also comes in many colors.
I'm sewing my first real hoodie today. After watching your video I'm much more confident that I understand the instructions. Thank you very much!

This white strip is hard interfacing that is usually used for waist band. In areas with thickness, there may be unevenness at the presser foot, causing the pressure and feed teeth to be less stable than usual. To increase the pressure and stabilize it, we intentionally use this to raise the height of the presser foot. Thank you!!
