The white strip is a plastic strapping band and often used for packing work. In areas with thickness, there may be unevenness at the presser foot, causing the pressure and feed teeth to be less stable than usual. To increase the pressure and stabilize it, we intentionally use this strapping band to raise the height of the presser foot. This is also useful for straight guide line. Thank you!!
