How do you know if you are singing well? It may sound like a silly question but it’s something I think about.
Does it feel free? If you record yourself and listen back do you enjoy how you sound? What sorts of facial expressions do others make when they listen to you sing? (just joking on that last point). How do you know which letters to drop in a word? How did you know to drop "r" in "Dark?"
It takes some practice- But mostly consider that we want the path of least resistance for the words. R brings the tongue up and blocks the flow of air which is why I often choose to diminish that one (or drop it all together!)
