This is the first time I've hired an editor for a video, hope you enjoy!
CZcams shorts could be very viable now you've got quick cuts to visual examples on the table
They did a great job
it reaaaally shows man they did great
@@Scroteydada i'm thinking of getting into those very soon, been getting a lot of emails about it from CZcams lol
it shows, quite an improvement
I'll also add that hitboxes increases your defense. Blocking overheads from crouch-blocking is a lot easier and faster since you're just letting go of crouch without worrying about undershooting (staying crouched) or overshooting (jumping).
I bought a Hitbox for the sole purpose of doing instant air dashes. I practiced for hours and hours on a stick and rarely ever got it, but I was instantly doing them on a Hitbox with 100% accuracy.
Because leverless controllers literally remove the "guesswork" of your inputs, letting you be clear and concise with what you want with zero room for error, while letting you be faster with inputs instead of fuffing about with a stick/lever
Amazing video again!
The editing compliments your clear explanations and your calming voice!
solid vid boss been thinking about picking one up for this new SF
Another useful application of hitboxes is in fuzzy jumping btw. Since you can jump on hitbox by pressing both down and up at the same time, you can hold down back and tap up very quickly while still holding down back to be vulnerable for the least amount of time to lows if you're getting true blockstring'ed
This is excellent analysis!
Swapped to hitbox when sf6 dropped and Cammys divekick is the exact reason I want to go back to stick haha. It felt so easy for me on stick but I think I get it like maybe 50% in real matches despite grinding just the one motion for hours in training mode so far
Switched to pad recently, feel this. After a month of playing on pad, motions aren't an issue, movement is. I cant walk forward for one frame and crouch block on the next without fucking up my hands, there's too much travel time to be frame perfect and movement feels so sluggish because of it.
I like the editing a lot, looks really fresh. I think I'll stick to my keyboard though. I've gotten used to it by now and i get most of the advantages anyway. Good video
The one thing keyboard don’t get vs a hitbox is that nice big round curved convex buttons. Those change how you feel while playing.
The buttons on hotbox look comfy, but a keyboard is nothing new to me and basically does the same thing, so I'm good with that.
Awesome video bud!! Crossup!!!
Fair point about the movement, and there are some really cool shortcuts and such on all-button controllers. Anyway, I dig the edits. Hopefully it helps boost your retention and helps you reach your next YT goal. Nice vid!
thanks!
I have one, if your into grapplers its hard to pull off certain moves, its perfect with other characters though.
Editor was definitely worth it. Great video brother
Appreciate it!
It was real apparent at Evo.
Movements were just different. All the micro steps.
Charge characters with advantage.
Just saying
This was interesting since I play with a PS4 controller. I wonder if the transistion will be hard but it would interesting. Btw love the edit on this video. Really clean man.
was it hard
Was it hard??
@@goodnice2049 well I haven't purchased a hit box so I wouldn't really know unfortunately.
@@zpacezekonia4482 I see. But have a nice day! And thanks.
I use keyboard
The one thing keyboard don’t get vs a hitbox is that nice big round curved convex buttons. Those change how you feel while playing. Simple things like double yoinking a single button with 2 fingers is possible because of that big round shape. The soft rounded shape makes all the world of a difference as a result.
Haute pads are 30$ AliExpress and they’re cheaper than a gaming keyboard lol 😊
I have tried keyboard out looking to maybe switch to hitbox. My problem is 632146 inputs which are very common on my character, i have a hard time getting the 4 input quickly enough because fingers 3 and 4 are not independent, so i just get down back. I guess its something to practice a lot.
Editor doing good! 👍
Hitbox helps me improve my Korean backlash and wave dash
Hi buddy quick question if I use a elite 2 controller d-pad for movement and remap the four back buttons to up down left right could I get same results as a hitbox and is this considered cheating.
Decided to make the switch soon. Movement was the main reason why. Biggest obstacle is definitely 720s😂
I sadly got wrist pain after playing 1 hour on the snack box micro…
Might get a hitbox just because it looks fun
i want to switch to a hitbox but finding out about them after the release of sf6 theyre now sold out for months 😢
I'm currently a controller user, but I'm looking at getting a hitbox.
Good video man
Unfortunately in my case i have a physical handicap that makes my left hand very stiff my fingers are unable to move quickly enough except my thumb
I wish I could find something that actually help in my case as I've tried pad and stick and I've just used pad because i can't seem to find a good controller that works :(
I'm sorry to hear that.
Can I use the Hitbox for Nintendo Switch?
Stick user here. Will be making the transition to snackbox soon. Hope I don't take too long to get used to it
i’m on day 2 of having a hitbox and i adjusted really well surprisingly, just take your time and get used to everything. One other thing i would do is to play in short bursts, your left wrist will hurt for playing too long, so if you play a set and you’re in training mode, don’t lab too long so your wrist can take a break.
@jico5147 one question: I know it's up to the individual but which thumb do you use for jump/up? Left ? Right? Which feels better?
@@chanbenyamin3527 i use left so i can have one hand on directions and have the other on attacks.
Hows this on mk1 stress test or any nrs game?
How does someone use a hit box? What’s the difference with a lever or a hitbox how do u move with those buttons
Ever played a PC game?
I can do combos but feel like a robot movement still alien
How much do they cost? Also where would be a good place to buy one?
idk if you still need an answer but granola arcade makes some budget friendly options that in my opinion are really well made
Hi, cool video. Question: who is the lady from your YT account picture? What anime is she from? Thx
it's mima from perfect blue
@@AndyLO2 oh right, I actually watched this film 4 years ago. Forgot. Thanks
I'm also a HitBox user (been using it every week for the last 3 years), any tip as to how to clean it/maintain it/upgrade it etc? Do you have a video explaining that? If not that'd be a suggestion.
People complaining its a cheat box but will gladly play with modern controls on sf6 thats gives you a one button critical art 😂
I'ts beyond me how people play fighting games on keyboard but hitbox-like controllers are miraculous
To be honest, i started with keyboard, so i never had the idea of getting a hitbox, i just can't play without WASD.
However, i planed to buy a lever for fun, or a mixbox to compete
Also, bro did a good job in the edit, looks nice
I use keyboard so I would like to try out hitbox
the problem with a hitbox is
when you're on the right side doing supers for the left side your ring finger is so weak ...i find it so hard and unnatural
Get better
Strength train then 😅
Tenks for legends, im don't speeak english
Joystick players that swapped to the hitbox.. what are the pros and cons? And does it take long to adjust from the stick to the buttons?
I'm just tired of my poor left thumb suffering lmao.
Welp this video aged well
Could I get a hitbox for my Xbox series x?
afaik a hitbox with the Brook UFB would work with an Xbox Series X
@@johnnybravo69420 thank you
@@johnnybravo69420 what website should I use
Got a box just cus I didn’t wanna break my keyboard anymore.
Arcade stick is more fun
Capcom banned it
And this is why I left the FGC
Why not just use your own?
how are these even allowed. seems like it kills the spirit of the game.
No its not, thats why they are allowed
Adapt or die. Lol #streetfighteralpha3
i really wish fighting games never got big on pc. i doubt this ever would have happened otherwise once again freelance pc users making mods/cheats for games ....
Keyboards are allowed on PC, it's the same thing.
Pretty much it’s a cheat box.
Short answer: Nope
Long answer: It's not giving you some rule bending advantage, say charge characters before SOCD ruling, then how is it cheating? To cheat is to imply a hard rule is being unfairly circumvented
Aaaand it's banned
Aaaand firmware fixed. That means unbanned
@@pastuh the socd update opened more exploits and technics you can do. fighting games were never meant to be played on a keyboard. any one seeking to use a hitbox saw how easy it is to do moves and they were on board end of story. its incredible seeing all the disingenuous peoples reasons to try justify their hitbox use. i really wish they would implement a setting that detects your pressing to directional inputs at the same time such as left right up or down at the same time and have a setting kick in matching only keyboard and hitbox players with only keyboard and hitbox players. i wonder just how many people would want to use it if they lost the advantage it gives them.
when last time played, it was obvious difference :X
hitbox isn't cheating, people who say so cry about it
i dont understand how so many people don't think this is cheating. its like steroids for a videogame
Not really much of an fgc head but seems like it lmao
It has draw backs and takes time to master.
@@ethanmasn7784 every time i see a clean up back down forward motion performed perfectly with millisecond timing and no ↘ input i think to myself ffs hear we go again.... the upsides once mastered is incredibly unfair to any one using a peripheral with a directional input unable to physically press socd. its not an argument. none of them should be tournament legal. no amount of socd cleaning will ever fix this,
Womp womp
@@roastytoasty8559can't you just buy a hitbox controller and also get it's "advantages"? Instead of saying here we go again lol
