@@CarsWithSteve Mine is an AWD XLT, and since I'm in western NY where we get real snow and cold, I also equipped it with the luxury package for the heated seats/steering wheel/mirrors.
@@CarsWithSteve I was impressed with the torque of my wife's Escape, I can only imagine how much better the 2.0L is. Salesman told me today the word they have is between the 4th and the 10th. Not that long of a wait.
Got mine 3 weeks ago, but it has this terrible creaking noise from the brakes when coming to a complete stop. Especially obvious when parking, no matter how delicately I brake. Taking in to the dealer and maybe returning it if I’m not satisfied with the solution
That's odd.. I heard of that happening a few times in the EcoSport but haven't come across it yet in the Maverick. Have you tried a few hard stops to see if it's just from a buildup on the rotors/pads? If that does nothing then bring it back to the dealer to fix - it's still a new car under warranty and you shouldn't run into braking issues this early. The pads/rotors should be able to get replaced under warranty
xlt...ecoboost...tow hitch...bed mat...splash guards...window visors...order number 4011....i also ordered a 2024 xl black...optioned with co-pilot 360 and a tow hitch...order number 4017....my 2023 was ordered 9-21-22...and i picked it up on 10-12-23@@CarsWithSteve
@Lemonhead8890 - way too early to have a VIN assigned. You're probably looking 1 - 3 months depending on your build before it has a VIN and then build date should be a 2 - 4 weeks after that
Why would you want the phone to call 911? To find your dead body? I would call them myself if after assessing the situation I thought it was necessary. If you call 911 that comes with responsibilities like going to the hospital. Maybe all you need is a tow truck. Young people seem to think everything has to be cleared through the authorities and are unable to take charge of a situation and deal with their fellow man as humans.
The system would call 911 in the event of a serious collision only, not in the case of a fender bender or other minor collision. How could you call if you were unconscious or if you were in a serious collision where you couldn't reach your phone? Plus it's dialed on your phone so if you could communicate you could say minor accident but no police or ambulance are needed..
It's in the event you cant reach the phone or otherwise, they can at least ping it to find where it is nearby, or gps locate it. it is mainly there for safety and sure you might be dead but in the event you aren't they can send help to you immediately. I mean just turn it off if you don't want it too, it asks you anyways. in the event it is not serious you just say I was in a vehicle accident, no one is hurt.
After waiting 18 months....my '23 Mav Lariat Hybrid was delivered a month ago. So far I love it.
Phew, only a bit of a wait there but great that you're loving it so far! Still haven't seen a Lariat at dealers I work with up here yet this year

Is ambient lighting on all Mavericks? Is there a clear way to know if you have it?
Ambient light was available across the board on the 2022 Maverick but it was limited to only the Lariat in the 2023 and 2024 models

Smaller front end but there are some similarities for sure
But the hybrid gets 40 mpg. The explorer sport track got 19 probably. The size is the same

not a tons of aftermarket wheel options....maybe a few....but dont oversell it.
Not many through dealerships but there are a lot of aftermarket options out there for this wheel size and offset
Ya there are quite a few that can fit. It really just has a different lug nut pattern but the offset is pretty much normal.

Try changing the playback speed to something that’s easier to follow. Some people find 0.75x works well
Nah . Nothing like a body on frame truck in my opinion.
Body on frame definitely has benefits but Ford wouldn't have been able to get the price point for this to where it is if they manufactured it that way
