Thank you . I need to watch this again. I'm in the midst of a suffering life and question Gods meaning. I know discouragement is not from God but it's so difficult at times. Please pray for me.
I am this person right now and feel like I have so much anxiety and just no peace. Feeling abandoned and lost. Thank you for this. God bless you and your beautiful family.
You can have your mind renewed by the power of the word of God. Just start with the Gospels. Start with the Gospel of Mark. Read chapter 1 morning and evening for 1 week and then continue with chapter 2 for week 2. Continue this until week 16 as the Gospel of Mark has 16 chapters. Once you finish Mark go to Luke then end with John and finally Mathew. There is healing power in the word of God and as you begin to soak yourself in the word of God you will be freed from all anxiety and tension. The Holy Spirit will liberate your mind as you continue in the word. God bless you....will be praying.
Your apostolate is invaluable in this time of diabolical disorientation. Please continue to shine the Light of authentic Catholic Truth upon this anguished, disillusioned world of unbelief.
Thank you for your witness, I enjoy watching your method of making our faith tangible and your message that God’s presence is never alienable. One counter-principle to balance “God does not allow for unnecessary suffering”, is that, “the faculty of suffering is given to us to know something is wrong”. Suffering is the result of some kind of harm or evil (moral, physical, psychological, social ...), so we need discernment (prudence) to know how to heal/fix a situation if we can (we can’t sometimes). I only add this point because, sometimes as Catholics, we can be too ready to accept suffering without also realizing we need to use our reason to better situations in our lives when we can. Nonetheless, as you stated, we can always use sufferings to unite us closer to Jesus and to learn to trust in God, particular when it is unavoidable and destructive.
It sounds like a great book for anyone...♥️ God is so good to us and His Word “The Bible “ has so many love quotes and letters from Him, for all His people. All we need is to take the time to read and share them with others. God Bless and Thank you 🙏
Ah yes Peace. I would never had made it through so much if were not for the Peace Our Lord gives. Many times staying in peace means knowing God has me in my daily struggles. I live in The Will of God. I am so grateful for this peace as it keeps me in a daily place of being Ok. Just today Lord, You and I. Thank you for the gentle reminder. God Bless you Yasinki's.
My ears perked up when Janelle said to keep your eyes on the prize. And I remembered that saying from your dad, Ken, before you even chuckled about it! That’s a meaningful book for my wife as well, and the search for peace is profoundly pertinent in these times!
Thanks, Ken & Jen for sharing this inspiring video. With me, whenever I say my morning prayers, I often say and including this phrase, "I pray that nothing of misfortune, tragedy or disaster will happen to me or my loved ones which are unforeseen in your infinite goodness that you and we (God) cannot handle". At the conclusion of my prayer, I also added "Protect all of us from all harm and danger." "May your grace be with me always and with those I loved, amen." It''s just a pleading & supplicating with God. It's very comforting. It's a shame that some people blame God for their misfortune and suffering. I usually prayed for these kinds of people as well. My pastor also gave part of his homily saying, "No matter what happens in our lives, God is ALWAYS with us." Amen! I strongly assent with that. God Bless you both.😃❤👍
Hi Jen and Ken this is so perfect for me right now. I have been in pain all night long, with chills with no sleep and now with a headache. Thank you for the reminder.
Thank you ..Just by listening to you and your wife gave me peace I am going to order this book. And carry it with me at all times. God bless you and your wife and your children. Amen
Thank you! I have that book and I need to get back in to it. All that is going on in our Country is definitely stealing my peace on a daily basis. 😥 I turn to prayer, scripture, reflections in my Magnificat, and daily Mass. I still find myself back online to listen to whatever is new news. That is when my peace is stolen. I'm going to not watch anything more today and instead pick up my book and let it be the extra balm for maintaining my peace. You two are such a blessing! May God continue to bless you and your family! 💝
God bless your family and may God Holy Spirits guide your children always. Thanks for the message and yes God is a good Shepherd and that he rather carry all the sufferings and our sins on the cross praise to our Lord Jesus Christ 🙏
Thank you for sharing, I have been searching for this book since you started sharing Janelle, I may have to buy another I think I may have gifted it. I love the part about mysteries and if we truly understood them there would be no need for faith. This is what I am working on with my catechism class right now. You both a true blessings for so many of us.
May I also suggest reading « Interior Freedom » of fr. Jacques Philippe? Is a very good book too and kind of compliments the one you’re discussing in the video ☺️
I am very afraid and anxious for my grandchildren. Please Lord be with them.

We will keep you in our prayers today. 🙏

Thanks so much. Yes my Dad has much wisdom.
Wow. . exactly like Sister Faustina experienced. Suffering is for the great glory of God, and be close to Him

You brought a smile to my face! So glad to know someone else recalls this saying from him. That means he just doesn't tell it to me!
