Great Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you researched - Peyichael Simplex Precedence (do a search on google)? It is a good one off product for getting rid of shyness and anxiety minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my coo-worker after many years got amazing results with it.

It hurted me when he said that the cause of social anxiety is either an embarrassed moment,or teasing,or a traumatic incident..All those causes he said were what happened to me. This video really helped my social anxiety towards others, and parents.
Back at my Elementary days I was very social.Everyone in the school knew my name and smiled when they see my face. That was before Highschool,in Highschool everything changed so suddenly!I was a social outcast and ever since my family realized I changed, they started becoming more abusive towards me.And started comparing me to my younger brothers and sisters who had nothing to do with this.Back at school I started treating others like strangers,And its has been happening ever since .So I am so thankful someone decided to make videos like this!It really helps me act towards others.

I have social anxiety and feel so awkward when I talk to people be it family, friends or strangers. I do my best to hide it by smiling a lot and by talking a lot. I feel so drained of energy afterwards. I have an interview soon and fear judgement. Pray for me

The thing with me is that my parents will ask me stuff like this “ when are you gonna get a girlfriend” or when ever they ask me other personal questions, I start getting a horrible anxiety attack. Also, I really don’t get myself but when I am in a couple classes I feel like myself and I can be the class clown and joke around with everybody, but in some other classes I will get an anxiety attack whenever my teacher starts to call on people and i don’t want to say anything because I feel like it is wrong or I will get laughed or judged.

Thanks for sharing, I want to acknowledge your courage in opening up about this. It sounds like you're experiencing a lot of anxiety around thinking that you might be outside of the 'social norm' (not having a girlfriend, not having the right answers and looking stupid). This is so normal, especially in school where there are a TON of expectations and I invite you to not make it wrong to feel this way, even if the experience of anxiety seems unpleasant.
I spent my years in school never wanting to speak up unless I had a chance to prepare what to say, out of fear of looking stupid and being teased and judged. This was because I actually got teased and judged many times. The worst moments were when teachers chose students at random to answer questions--absolutely horrifying.
The shift that changed everything for me was when I realized that my anxiety was normal. I stopped fighting it and made friends with it. Yes, it was uncomfortable but I allowed it to be part of my experience while doing what I needed to do. If I got judged or teased, awesome, I might feel a spike of anxiety but I wouldn't make it wrong or label it as undesirable. (You can even try saying to your anxiety, "Hello there anxiety!" when it comes up. You can even make it a game to notice when it appears without pushing it away!) This allowed me to start recognizing that even if I ended up looking stupid or getting teased, I was still perfectly safe. It can often feel like anxiety is the same as death, but that's just not true. Anxiety is a natural response and even if we are experiencing it, we can consciously acknowledge our safety--both of these ideas are a huge part of this video.
Hope that helped, please let me know how the process I've described in this video works for you! And remember, you're not alone in this.

I lost all my friends and burned all the bridges I've made. I dont like to show my face anywhere because I dont want people from my past to see me, judge me for still being here and useless by their terms..
I want to enjoy myself when I have friends, a job, and when I don't. I want to love and appreciate myself so badly but it's...hard..

I had terrible PTSD from a panic attack I had and I fixed that by being grateful. So try gratefullness. Just be grateful for what you have, i.e an entire army of cells making sure you are alive, complex systems keeping you safe and neurons firing at rates that are too fast for you to realize just so that you are able to move and navigate the world. HeadsUp: "You will feel like you are stopping your pursuit of externally rewarding things thus might feel like not doing it," and "it is hard to do it at first but it becomes easier: to make it a habit, make sure to do it after some sepecific thing[for EG: I did it whenever I felt anxious]"

      Confidence Coaching with Gwun
As you talked about where the fear of judgement and social anxiety really stem from, and you spoke about the being teased in childhood, I saw memories of myself going through that and realized I never healed that. I still harbored that pain all these years and it’s had a huge impact on my life now at 22. Also the most impactful part of this video is how to mention that we need to remind ourselves that we are safe. when I saw my memories I wasn’t feeling the sadness or shame of being teased, I saw my younger self crying and begging to go home, and instead of feeling bad or embarrassed, for the first time ever, I wanted to hug her and tell her that she is safe. I had never had that perspective of my anxiety ever. So thank you for that💛

    @pkavenger9990 Před 3 lety

Dude you voice and you logic are both sound. Also i want to add that there are actually people around us that confront other people, make them feel bas so that they can feel better. Distance yourself from that kind of people or if they get really close and get in physical contact never back down, either fight them or take the beating but never run unless they have a gun or they have intention of killing you, that scenario will be highly unlikely. They best thing you said was to not get rid of anxiety but actually feel comfortable in it. i imagined that as if you are really sitting in front of me and i am really sitting close to you, i got cold feet and instability in body and blood pressure but i did not go defensive, instead i let myself loose and kept telling my brain: no matter what it not like its gonna kill me or anything, so why i get defensive. Then i realized that i even forgot what it feels like to be comfortable. Also medicine (non allopathic) Herbal is also important, I do programming which requires you to be a Geek and isolation some times. So brain health is also important, sometimes your nerves become so weak that they cant handle the stress of anxiety. I am taking Herbal medicine and soon i will also take Canabid oil (CBD) which will strengthen my nerves and i wont feel the anxiety at extreme level.

    Feel comfortable with your anxiety
    Practice meditation
Find your safe space in your memory (bath f.e) remember the feeling
Meditate with feeling of the safe space
Face your fear. I see my anxiety come up, create some space up and be with it, sit with it, don't resist. Create space between you and your anxiety. You are not your emotions or your anxiety. Ask yourself if you are safe: i’m experiencing anxiety but i am safe. We are anxious but we are safe. What we are doing is a habit . Become non-judgemental aware.
