Nexus always sounds mad authentic... even though some sounds do sound like late 2000’s and early 2010’s but it’s still one of the best vst’s around for production ...till this day 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love Nexus 2! The Simple Pad 1 preset with a Mondo Mod gentle chorus running through it sounds heavenly.

hey sean,nice vid,i have a lot of their expansions for nexus,and some for avenger,however,i would love it if they would create a super sounding GM expansion
so that existing assigned GM instruments in a midi file could conform with their instrument number,now you have to search into different expansion packs to find all the instruments needed for the midi file,hopefully they will create one for nexus and avenger

Edit. They were the first ones to sound good and have an outstanding interface. So many hits from this it can't be counted.

Sean I know you are a busy Brother but could you please help me out with this issue. Lately when a record my audio file all goes well. I even get to bounce the project. Only to open it the next day and receive the following disturbing messages :
1.Logic Pro X can't recognise file "it sates the file name" .Please ensure that the file properties are correct and that is a support file type.
2. Logic Pro X found audio file in 8 bit format. This format is unsupported and cannot be played back.
3.One or multiple audio files changed in length! As a result , x amount of audio regions changed in length or content position.
I'm saving my projects as a folder now what else can i be doing wrong.

Hello, Sean. Great vid! Question: Where have you downloaded all those crazy skins from?
They were available on the REFX website with Nexus 2 - hopefully they will bring them back for Nexus 3!
Do you keep the effects(reverb and delay) on in the synth plugins. Or do you turn them off and add your own reverb and or delays?
I usually like to turn the effects and use my own for more control. Not always though, Nexus has pretty good controls to adjust the effects on the fly

I bought some of the expansions he said to get for nexus 3 but they don't sound the same as when I hear it on here? Wtf! His sound radio ready I go to the exact sound but it sounds like a low quality version. Can anyone help
If you're using the licensed version of Nexus, they should sound the exact same

I know I should have bought this instead of Omnisphere. I am not a sound designer and love ready to go sounds with little tweaking and this would have done me so well. I just hate the way those guys talk to people from Nexus 2. That turned me off led me to buy Omnisphere. Nice Video Sean.
I love Omnisphere also... for very different reasons. Can't really compare the 2 but there are some great presets out there for Omnisphere if you want to go that route

I was about to say omnisphere is a monster all its own. But nexus is indeed top 3 in romplers. Heat up 3 is actually dope but their expansions gonna cost. Oh wait. So does nexus haha

Sean, I hate to be negative about a company, but I recently had a super bad experience with ReFX. A common problem with Nexus 2 (which I learned the hard way) is that the company is very difficult with customers who lose their authorization due to the eLicenser either breaking or getting lost. After years of use, my eLicenser died one day recently. They required that I send the broken elicenser to their office in Canada via registered mail ($30 from California) to confirm that I was not trying to trick them. It took a month for them to receive the product and verify, and they offered no interim solution. Plus they were super uncool, particularly the owner. Checking other's experiences on various music sites, I learned that they've driven away a lot of customers with this issue and their bad attitudes about it. Beware.

Sorry to hear that Trey... luckily, I haven't had to replace the dreaded e-licenser (which is also used for Cubase and other software). Otherwise, ReFX has been rolling out updates and keeping things running smoothly. Not trying to downplay what you and others may have been through...I have no connection with the company other than buying Nexus and the interactions I've had were prompt and helpful. Hopefully they sorted out any customer service issues over there since your experience!
@@SeanDivine Me either, the product itself has been no problem. I'm a Cubase guy, so when my elicenser died, I lost both Cubase and Nexus. I reached out to Steinberg and literally had Cubase back up and running in a few minutes. Then I reached out to ReFX support and they told me to send in the eLicenser. I told them that was ridiculous. Ultimately I reached out the owner. He said he didn't trust customers, had to see the eLicenser.

at the end of the year their price is lowered,thats when i bought nexus,however,you also have to buy a dongle,not so for avenger,only downside is,avenger doesnt have that many expansions yet
