By picking up shadowlands engineering you can use the auction house in oribos. It's right next to the engineering trainer, no need to go back to orgrimar at all.

If you are an engineer there is a robot auctionhouse guy right next to the Engineer Trainer in Oribos. Only Engineers can use it though. Not a big deal but it saves you a little time not having to go to Orgrimmar or Stormwind to gear up your new toon.

I didn't know about the purchase of the Wormhole from the AH but the same NPC that is beside the Flightmaster in Oribos, sells a toy called "Scouting Map: Into The Shadowlands" for 10k gold. If you have another character that got the achievement "Shadowlands Explorer" you can buy the toy and have your alt toon use it which basically unlocks every single Flightmaster point and reveals all maps in the Shadowlands expansion.

my friends peer pressured me to finally playing Wow and after a while I wanted to make another character. this is the perfect guide for me to try other classes and not knowing that I dont have to do everything again. got my Sub!
also only suggestion is maybe be off widescreen mode so we can see all the vendors and other popup screens.

Great video! Keep up the good work. One thing I do after getting to ZM is that you already have 3K anima to buy the 226 gear from the renown boosts. Also, before buying the gear make a circle around ZM and loot treasures. You can find 233/236+ gear like Boots, rings, cloak etc, and then go buy the anima gear.
Actually u get 1k anima pr covenant so 4k, nees to be delivered in covenant hub though.

@@mps7962 Yup, that is true. Forgot the one. I was doing this to alts 50-60. So I bought the first one and went levleing to 60, and then bought 3 renown boosts after I was 60.

O, don’t buy trinkets, rings or a neck. You can pick up a selection (and about 1k flux by opening chests with spacing openers in them and going to the ZM treasure room- look up a guide for “sand, sand everywhere” you go to a room, click piles of sand on the floor (I think there are 5, 3 trinkets, 2 rings and a neck. All ilev 246 and they have 150 cosmic flux as well (get the handy notes addon, they’ll be marked on the map). O, if you have spare Sandworn relics you can buy 246 gear, then tier(ify) it so you have a basic 4 piece set bonus. And if you have a main with stair flux, you can pick up an item for 10k flux (bit much imo) and get all your conduits at 278.
It’s stupid that you aren’t supplies either more gold for x4 covenants, proper flying, a Chunchon of flux for your lego, tier and conduits. Especially this late in the xpac. Blizzard being blizzard again. Your 2 legoes, a 246 4 piece, 278 conduits and just click on the 4 factions for everything. It should be 5 mins to get full 4 piece, conduits, anima to set one covenant table, fast travel and an extra z10k gold for a few bits you have missing, repairs set up some proffs, o and a consumables care pack too. Blizz just throwing obstinate in your way. It’s a piss take that they set you up like this, hope that helps some anyway 👍✌️

This is amazing, I saw the first bit about swapping covenants and using the items to get all the free stuff, I literally went straight on the game on my main and helped myself to all the goodies from the other covenants, and then went back to my main covenant and used all the champion boosters that I stole from the other covenants. I have just unashamedly used and abused them all! Love it! Only thing is - can't use the other covenant mounts but as I am sure you are, I hope they lift that restriction in the future, e.g in dragonflight.

amazing guide , i had no idea about the covenant vendor, that helped so much, but id also be careful of using a dragonflight boost right now as in once dragonflight is out, chances are the starting zone from the boost will change and default starting gear will change in ilvl

When you get all of your Renown up to 60 you also get anime from them. I buy the trinkets and weapons from the anima vendor in zerith Mortis with the anima.

There’s also a cloak you can get. I believe you have to join a guild first but it lets you teleport straight to your major city which helps. But I agree the dalaran hearth is just faster to get.

Actually there are three guild cloaks, all of which DON'T share a cool down. And you don't need to stay in a guild to use them once bought.
Yes indeed; 3 cloaks - uncommon, rare & epic quality, with 8, 4 & 2 hr. cooldowns respectively, all sold by Guild Vendor in Orgrimarr for Horde.
so just did this with my hunter. great video and great info but one thing maybe should mention. When you switch your covenant, use the gear you get from each one right away because if you dont, you will lose the mounts and appearances once you switch to another covenant if not used right away. i went through each covenant and found that the mounts and appearances were gone from my bags when i went to my last one. at least thats what im assuming. i hvaent gone back to try to keep the mounts and appearances. will do that once im done getting the rest of this stuff done. thanks again for this video. awesome
Once you get 80 renoun you dont loose them! But you are right, that is how that works! I never experienced that myself so I never thought to add it in, good call!
Yea, it sucks and happened to me. I lost all three of the other covenants gear and mounts. I guess I have to level up the remaining 20 lvls on the other covenants now. I assume that will work.

In the beginning, where you are buying stuff from the shadowlands dude, next to the the flight dude... the vendor bag doesn't show on the screen. But we do see what you buy when it pops into your bad. ;)

Hello coach so if I woudn´t buy those 4 things to skip the npc I would have to do 4 or 5 questlines for those rewards? Also would you prioritize those 4 things and the portal or the gear? If not enough for all.
After learning engineering the floating gnome next to trailer is a engineering only AH, so no need to go to OG for that.

I've already got all the races and at least 1 of each class level 60 (horde and alliance), and my lowest character is like 41 or 43. I can't think of anything to use the 60 boost on that isn't a waste

Well, this video is pretty much only usefull if you have a main character with max renown and gold or anima. If you haven't played shadowlands yet, you need to do the first two chapters of the other campaigns before you can get to Zereth Mortis. I reccomend doing the entire Zereth Mortis campaign first to get to max renown and the free legendary. Then you can buy the item that unlocks all conduits at a good level. After that do the Chains of Domination Campaign until "The Last Sigil" chapter for Shadowlands flying. Finally you can do your covenant campaign if you want to unlock the other 2 Soulbinds.
After that you can run The Jailers Gauntlet in Torghast or farm cosmic flux for the second legendary. At this point you should be able to get into Raiding/M+/rated PVP groups to get gear that you can upgrade into the tier set.
Now you can finally begin to grind for your BIS gear. Man, isn't Gearing fun in Shadowlands?
Also: if you want to PVP, don't spend gold or Anima on Trinkets. You get one in Zereth Mortis from the quest "A New Deal" plus 500 honor. With that honor you can buy your other PVP trinket.

I did the exact same as you, with the lvl 60 renown on all cov. Then went to talk to the guy at the table but it doesnt give me a quest or an option to skip anything. Whats wrong?

Do I need at least one character at 60lvl with a finished story to take advantage of these boosts and covenants? I am asking because I finished my adventure on Legion and I wonder if I have to go through campaigns or if it is enough to boost up to 60lvl
Watching this video from the beginning, it seems the level 60 boost is only beneficial, if you’ve gotten one character to level 60 already. Is that correct? Would you recommend this to a brand new player who’s never played WoW before?

Ugh I boosted a warlock to 60 and playing it totally sucks. I’m running around ogrimmar, completing low level quests for like 150 xp a pop. Have no idea how to get to level 60+ zones, can’t find any mobs that aren’t gray.
It really amazes me that you don't even get Master Flying with a $60 boost.

So... returning player here I pre-purchased DF got lvl 60 boost haven't used it yet I'm leveling a ret Pala current lvl 57, since this is my first char at SL it is recommended to go through the campaign first? Cuz I can just boost one to 60 but idk
Yes go through campaign first so you can unlock that for ALL other characters, I dont think the boost unlocks the campaign, but I could be wrong on that. Finish leveling campaign with your 57 then boost a character once that one reaches 60!

I wouldnt worry about ANY of it and just pick any covenant but DONT worry about renown, its going to be dead in a few weeks and you DO NOT need it :)

Does the boost also help for characters who havent done the Shadowlands expansion progress or do you have to do all the Covenant quest and outside progression? I have a friend who's coming back and I dont want them stuck on SL just before the Dragonflight prepatch.
No it should get you past the leveling campaign, but it wont do the level 60 campaign part, so yes it does help

Getting gear is easy 1400 arenas and conquest, get in them and get some wins….. then buy pvp gear.

Great Vid but i think that is the problem with the game. People never play for fun anymore. It is all about being efficient and not focused on fun. That is why wow was so successful before and now most videos I watch are a guide based on efficiency XD.

Its also a guide for boosted characters (which people could definitely have gold for). So just giving all options :)
I don't understand why you bothered spending money to get all of the covenants leveled up on the boosted character (and all of your conduits). Unless you plan on doing mythic+ in Shadowlands for the final 3 weeks before Dragon Isles, it's a waste of gold IMO. I'm just focusing on running alts through ZM to get to minimum 233 iLevel, which is easy there without having set foot in your chosen covenant. In case anyone wonders, you can solo ZM as a fresh 60 in 140-150 gear in pretty much every class. By the end of that storyline you can be at 233+ without any dungeons or world bosses. I would say on each of my dozen alts I have one or two individual pieces below 233 and I plan to get them from the pre-patch event because you buy the gear with tokens rather than hoping for pieces to drop.
