    Knipex pliers wrench doesn't chew up fasteners but you have to adjust them. Rarely ever use standard open end wrenches.

    Just use the 6 side for these mate. Not even plumbers use these on small fittings like that. Its great for use in larger pipe fittings tho

    Are size nut repeatedly.. and although it is a badass tool, it’s inherently only Great….for pipes and plumbing. Because on more delicate fasteners and tight clearances, it chews up and mars the nut. Those sharp teeth that “bite”, are screwing up the nut wvery time. So if it’s something that has to come on and off frequently, this wouldn’t be the tool of choice. But for a plumbing job that’s going to be tightened and put together once… perfect.

      It's clearly not for high torque applications, it's called a "PIPE VICE" if you're givin' 'er what for, then YEAH use sockets and wrenches.

    I want an assortment of pipe vise wrenches and one their vises. However does it really replace wrenches because if it’s a bolt you need to keep the teeth can round off that bolt. I’m still planning on buying a full set of them soon but just saying. They look well built!!

    • @restaurantrepairs
      @restaurantrepairs  Před 8 měsíci +1

      They definitely do have the ability to mangle a nut so using it all the time for on and off will eliminate the ability to use a socket. Their real power comes in iron pipe and gas lines.

      @@restaurantrepairs gas pipe fittings is my main reason for wanting them. I love how they self adjust to different size by itself, they look well built, and for when I come across rounded nuts/bolts.

    • @restaurantrepairs

    • @restaurantrepairs
      @restaurantrepairs  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Real talk it’s not terrible. The pipe vice teethbare super sharp (and have stayed that way) so they grab once and bite. I haven’t had much mangling… especially on not crazy frozen nuts. Adjusting fan motors and the like. Winner winner.
