I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa at just 4 years old and began public speaking at age 5. I started just doing motivational speaking, but now I make videos and even model! Even though I can’t see, I know that there are bright spots in everything we face. Let’s find them together. 💕

I get cystic acne from eating cow dairy, so cutting that out has saved my skin more than any expensive treatments or products ever have.

Birth control helped my teenage acne. Just got off of it after 10 years and it’s been really hard experiencing it again in my late 20s. I’ve been looking forward to this video. The struggle is real

For the future video, I'm curious about this question: If you could have the option to never have heard about aging skin, would you not want to know? Or would you want to know anyway? Because for many people it becomes an obsession even though it's a process we can't stop, and some people wish they cared less. So, just wondering.

Not to be weird, but my husband was out in the kitchen making dinner & I called him into the living room to say, "look how pretty Molly looks!" He said, "Yes, we love Molly." ♥️ I'm taking in all your tips as we speak. ☺️ Love ya, girl.

I've been dealing with acne in my late 20s and its been a hit to my self esteem. My skin kinda did the similar thing as yours where from 18-24 i had such clear skin 😭😭. Hearing though that consistent skin care routines will help minimize and that 30 has also helped make me feel optimistic that this wont be a struggle forever. ❤

Differin (gel) and Plexion(sulfur) cloths really helped me. I have KP and an AHA scrub that isn't scented helps me a lot! My skin is better when I don't wash it as much. I'm glad I learned that lesson. Less money wasted too.

Hi Molly great video loved it, I'm 21 right now and starting to be more serious with sunprotection the reminder helps allot, also I would also love "seeing" more of your adventure vlogs on here like you show on Instagram, would be great if you could take us with you on some adventures and journeys like the suspention bridge a while back or just exploring a city nearby (and maybe you can show some more in depth O&M skills with a cano or Elton for those who can see as the area doesn't need to be blurred out for your safety and privacy) have a good day!

This happened to me at 21/22. Took me literally a year to resolve. 30, 40, 50, deep cystic pimples and nodules, all at once. The same as you - sensitive, dehydrated, dry skin, producing too much oil and irritated by my gut microbiome, immune system, and stress. I saved my face, but it took 9-12 months.

thank you for this video ❤I am 22 and just started accutane. I understand the feeling of trying everything and nothing working. I enjoyed watching this video and hearing another person’s perspective who struggles with acne. When nobody around you who struggles with it, sometimes its nice to see another adult talking about it. Thank you Molly!!

how has it been working for you so far? i’m 22 & since i began my 20s, my acne has not been great. it’s manageable, but i can never get it completely gone!

    • @allisona.2711
      @allisona.2711 Před 3 měsíci

@@luvprincess_xo I would only recommend it if its your last option! I have been dealing with severe acne for basically 10+ years, I have tried so many over the counter creams, persa gels, spirallactone, etc. With that being said, It has been going very well so far. I have seen noticeable improvements in my skin and its only been like 2-3 weeks. The number one thing with Accutane is not getting pregnant because the baby will have threatening problems. So you have to get blood work done every single month to ensure that you’re not pregnant. And you have to be on two forms of birth control. I’m already on an IUD so I had to add condoms. You’re not supposed to drink alcohol, take vitamin supplements like a multivitamin, and you’re not supposed to use any other face products except your moisturizer and sunscreen to see the full effect. That was a lot of information but I wanted to highlight the big ones. It sounds like a lot, and it is. But so far to me who struggled with acne for years and years, it’s been worth it so far. I almost forgot, dry lips. if you look up Accutane symptoms that’ll be the number one thing and unfortunately it’s true. I thought I was immune to it because I’ve never really struggled with chapled lips ever, but alas, it got me. That’s manageable too, just smothering my lips in Aquaphor every night. Hope this helps!!

Something I’ve done for years is using a tea tree face wash; specifically the Thursday Plantation one. Tea tree is a natural anti bacterial, so I use that almost daily and then the neutrogena daily moisturizing gel. I also put pure vitamin e on my face, not daily but a couple times a week. 😊

Definitely great you're using sunscreen but I don't think you need 3 as 1 Is formulated to be full coverage. ❤ but love to see the products you use, it's super interesting 😊 I also use Tretinoin and it's literally transformed my skin as I've had acne my whole life. Glad to hear yourse has cleared up

I don’t get much ache unless it’s near my time of the month.. but these are great tips for dry skin! All products burn my skin and so I only use water and moisturizers. Even toners hurt if I use it for more than 3 days. I hit 30 2 weeks ago and have started using retinol from ceraVe😅

seriously fuck adult, hormonal, and cystic acne. i got off of birth control and then went on spirnolacone. it helped a lot but it was giving me some of the same problems as birth control. so now even though i see a dermatologist i feel like nothings working and idk what to do. thank you for sharing this.

Thanks for sharing what you use!
I started using Spirolactonate recently (along with a clindamycin gel topical- I use the one you use for spot treatment for my HS cysts in pits/groin lol); my friend who is a pathologist but also suffers from cystic acne recommended Winlevi to me too, and if the Spiro doesn't significantly help this year, next year I'll try that.
I wash my face with the Shea Moisture African Black Soap bar in the morning - no acne medication in it - very moisturizing. I can't use vitamin A/retinol medications or topicals because I have a neuro disorder that causes high pressure surrounding the brain/optic nerves & retinol is a trigger.

I got the worst hormonal acne when I switched from the normal pill to the mini pill (progesterone only pill). It was for health purposes so I can’t go back to the normal pill but I’m sick of having constant breakouts from it. Duac and adapalene have helped a bit but even 3 months of antibiotics didn’t clear it completely. I would love to come off it but periods are horrendous if I do! Don’t know what else to do though. Being a women is a bitch sometimes😒

I feel like I have only ever known I had blackheads when I can see them on my face. I’m curious if you’re finding them through touch or if it’s from someone else looking? I’d be very interested to see how you can identify by touch if so!
