    Difficult to imagine a huge mound of mud as a Royal mausoleum. (I'll have to work on my imagination.) But...the beehive-shaped pyramids house the remains of the ancient and powerful Western Xia kingdom (1038-1227 AD), conquered by the Mogols.
    Know that this must see in Yinchuan doesn't exactly make for exciting viewing.
