I remember seeing you in town at the so called big event and you were all so young before you got your contract and I remember the prayers most of us said under our breaths especially I believe your mom. God is so good. Your intellect was so strong and God Graced your hard work as we could all clearly see.

I love Phil’s heart for the Lord, his faithfulness to his family and his calling, and how he encourages others to establish a personal relationship with Christ. His book, “Redwoods and Whales”, compelled me to pay more attention to the beauty of God’s creation, and to never lose my “awe” of the Creator. May the Lord continue to bless him and keep him, make His face shine upon him, and give him peace.

As a Christian, trials and tribulations are a given. Having an unshakable faith in my savior enables me able to have peace "his peace" that surpasses all understanding and certainly my own understandings. I've learned to listen to the gentle wispers of his holy spirit.
