This channel used to be more Nick, but Legarms has turned into a really good, confident presenter almost professional. Nick is great, but Legarms is becoming the star of the show, their dad too also brings a different dynamic. You can tell their dad is proud, it radiates off him like the sun, his boys on his family farm with their families all working as one, facing trials and tribulations.

My father grew up on a farm (no livestock) in Germany. We live in the U.S. now, and used to go back every year till I was in high school and it used to be my favorite thing in the world to be on the tractors and combines with my uncle and cousins. We no longer visit and my uncle has retired from farming and leased his land to other farmers in the area. I would just like to say this channel brings me so much joy to not only see how farms work in the U.S. but bring me back to the time I was a kid and got to climb all over the machines. Thank you Welker farms for the positive energy you guys give to us. Cheers to a good harvest 🙏🏻

Thanks from Iowa. I am donate labor To the Cornstar Family. Thats Showing Caring & Sharing. I live 50 miles south of them. We were hit at my place. Took down 3 white pines. That I planted when they were seedlings. They were 20 feet tall. Then some corn blown somewhat flat. I was my semi, just got to one of my stops. There I have too. Jackknife. The trailer, to the corral. The good Lord, had me. Or Holy Ghost, to be there. Just as the rain & wind. Came full force, I made thetruck & trailer into a wedge. Orarrow shape. That gave me a firm base. It did rock it, some but not a wicked. Or violent, thought I was on the outside edge of a twister.

I live in Cedar Rapids, IA. I just want to thank you. Ever house was damaged in some way. No tree was untouched. This storm was Aug 10 th, we still have huge piles of of debris along our streets. Today the city said they will still be picking up debris. When the snow starts to fly. But we are Iowa Strong. Thank you for all your help. Each and one of us appreciates all the help. If wasn't for you and other organizations. We wouldn't be as far as we are.

Thank You guys! I live hr north of the path of the Derecho. We were lucky no damage. Im 48 yrs old and have never seen such wide spread damage. It followed the hwy 30 across the state. Most grain bins were empty due to upcoming fall harvest. Corn fields flatten for miles. Farms and Co-op's lost bins and some cases entire farms are gone. Very ugly sight. I live in Manchester Iowa. Major cities like Des Moines, Cedar Rapids have been without power for almost 2 weeks in spots. A person has to see to believe! I would like to get out to Montana to see your operation . Maybe next spring or fall. Stay Safe and god bless ! Thank you for thinking of the Iowa farmers and all the folks affected.

I think someone has been watching FastAg videos about the grain baggers? That is a great alternative compared to dumping grain in your storage building floor. Harvest has its times with breakdowns. Good ol’ fashion farmer blacksmiths fixin’ the header. Been there done that. Thank for the video Welker’s. Be safe.

Thank you Welkers/Fast. We definitely took a hard hit here in Iowa. In my particular area just north of Cedar Rapids Iowa we had 140mph winds. I've been out donating my time and my skidloader to the cleanup effort. Over 100 hrs so far. Joined forces with a local church and their volunteers and have really made a difference. Now we have Samaritans Purse on board as well. We've been cleaning a trailer park for its residents since the owners have offered zero assistance.

Glad to see you guys pulling each other up an no one is down for long. Platitudes of speech best served by action. I'd say its time to get a dog to keep Cobbie on his toes. A youngster to keep rabbits under control. Where do you stop as we are so busy and self important.... ya, get the dog as some of you when older will say best thing I ever did was rescue a dog who's future is in doubt and those winds have got to of left some homeless.

He had to have two additional cylinders to just lift it. Two bad it caught fire and burned to the ground. The Cat dealer sent out two smaller combines for him to finish harvest with. They told him he was too hard on them and wont rent to him anymore, so he switched to John deere.

Dont know if you have seen them but you can get a hydraulic pump that you put on the grain cart and then use the hydraulics from the tractor

Lots of stuff that's the same all across the high plains in the video. Corn is our noisy crop down south, wheat and milo nice and quite. Saying for smoke, is that you'll run out of gas before you find the fire. Looks close, but it's usually not.

You need a few pairs of Duluth Trading Company pants which are made out of fire-hose material. The company claims that they're tougher than an angry beavers teeth. I get 3 years out of them before I get holes. These pants last two years longer than Dickies, blue jeans or Carhart. They're expensive but spreading out the cost per pair over three years makes them affordable.

I really wish I was in a position to donate. I have 6 seasons custom harvest under my belt in the Midwest I'm from Maryland and I love the Midwest if my family wasn't in Maryland id be in the Midwest. Kansas is probably my favorite followed by Montana. The farming community is Soo great I've met Soo many friends along my travels throughout hàrvest I'll be praying for the folks in Iowa such a shame I was in Nebraska last spring when the flooding was happening wow what a mess!!!
